Level I/II Tap
Level I/II Tap further explores the world of Tap introduced in Preschool Tap. Fundamentals of tap including learning rhythm, sounds and coordination in a fun class set to age-appropriate music. Students should turn 5 by the first day of class: exceptions must be approved by instructor. Class meets once per week for a 9-week session. Tuition is divided into four payments $108 every 9 weeks. Dress code: Black leotard, pink tights, black tap shoes for females, black jazz pants, white shirt, black tap shoes for males.

Pre-Ballet
Students are introduced to ballet vocabulary and barre work while building flexibility of movement, dance exploration and classroom decorum. Technique will be developed from the base formed in Creative Dance. At the end of Pre-Ballet dancers will have been introduced to ballet steps, terminology, alignment and developmentally appropriate ballet positions.
Students must turn 7 by the first day of class: exceptions must be approved by instructor. Class meets once a week from August to June. Tuition is split into four payments of $112.50 per session. Dress code: Pink leotard, pink tights, pink ballet slippers.

Level I Jazz/Lyrical
Ages 7+
An introduction to Jazz and Lyrical Jazz. Lyrical dance combines techniques and skills from ballet, jazz and modern. Students will also explore how lyrical dance emphasizes interpretation of music lyrics to tell a story with movement that can be fluid or abstract.
Students should be 7 by the first day of class: exceptions must be approved by instructor. Class meets once a week from August to June. Tuition is split into four payments of $108 per session. Dress code: black leotard, black full length or capri jazz pants, black jazz shoes, lyrical sandals.

Ages 11+

Prerequisites: At least 1 year of Level I Lyrical Jazz or Ballet. Class meets once a week from August to June. Tuition is split into four payments of $117 per session. Dress code: black leotard, black full length or capri jazz pants, black jazz shoes, lyrical sandals, if required by choreography.

Level I Hip Hop
Kids will learn the basic moves of Hip Hop in a fun class danced to current, kid-appropriate music. Kids wear street clothes they can move in- sweats, sports shorts, etc- and street shoes, like sneakers. Students should turn 6 by by the first day of class: exceptions must be approved by instructor. Class meets once per week. Tuition is split into 4 payments of $108 per session.

Level I Ballet
Level I Ballet marks the beginning of formal ballet training. Students will progress in their barre work, alignment and ballet positions. Technique will continue to be developed from Pre-Ballet. At the end of Level I, dancers will have mastered fundamental ballet steps, terminology, alignment and developmentally appropriate ballet positions.

Prerequisite: Pre-Ballet or placement at instructor's discretion based on a placement class.

Students must turn 8 by the first day of class: exceptions must be approved by instructor. Class meets twice a week from August to June. Tuition is split into 4 payments of $117 per session. Dress code: Orchid leotard, pink tights, pink ballet slippers, hair in a bun.

Prerequisite: Level I Ballet or placement at instructor's discretion based on a placement class.

Dress code: Royal Blue leotard, pink tights, pink ballet slippers, hair in a bun.

Level III Ballet
Prerequisite: Level II Ballet or placement at instructor's discretion based on a placement class.
Students must turn 10 by the first day of class: exceptions must be approved by instructor. Class meets two times per week from August to June. Tuition is split into four payments of $225 per session.
Students who are deemed ready will be invited to enroll in the Pre-Pointe class.

Dress code: Turquoise camisole leotard, pink tights, pink ballet slippers, hair in a bun.

Ages 10-14

Level IV Ballet
Students will have mastered basic technique and correct placement. Girls will show sufficient hip, leg and foot strength for pointe work. Focus will be on perfecting technique, body placement and correct body lines. Pointe technique will be incorporated into class time.

Prerequisite: Level III Ballet or placement at instructor's discretion based on a placement class.

Students must turn 12 by the first day of class: exceptions must be approved by instructor. Class meets three times per week from August to June. Enrollment in all 3 classes is required. Tuition is split into four payments of $310.50 per session.

A minimum of 3 technique classes per week is required to commence and continue pointe work.

Dress code: Mint leotard, pink tights, pink ballet slippers, pointe shoes, if approved, hair in a bun.

An open class consisting of barre, center and across the floor in Contemporary Ballet. Students under the age of 16 must be enrolled in at least Level III Ballet to participate in this class.

Beginning Adult Ballet
Suitable for the beginner teen/ adult as well as students who would like to work in a slower paced environment, this class progresses slowly and is open to adult beginners at any point in the session. Attention is paid to proper body alignment, use of the legs and feet, and developing movement sequences through coordination of the arms and head. Students are encouraged to follow more experienced students as well as ask questions when needed. Like all of our open classes, this class is subject to the needs of the overall attendees of each class.
