Jr. Hip Hop (Break Dancing) Breakdancing is a form of hip-hop Students will enjoy the cool moves and quick spins. Breakdancing moves take a lot of time and practice to master, particularly the ones performed near the ground, called "downrock" moves. "Uprock" moves, which are performed standing up, give breakdancers a chance to incorporate their own styles.

Drop In Hip Hop / Freestyle Breaking

Although the term “breakdance” is frequently used to refer to the dance in popular culture and in the mainstream entertainment industry, “b-boying” and “breaking” are the original terms. The dynamic movement in Breaking is the reason many are attracted to this battle dance. The students in Breaking Dynamics will focus primarily on power moves, freezes, and transitions that will add a dynamic factor to their freestyle and performance movement. This class is an extension of Breaking Foundations.

Hip-Hop Hip-hop dance refers to street dance styles, primarily performed to hip-hop music, that have evolved from the hip-hop culture. This class will challenge the dancer both physically and mentally as they gain the knowledge of both performance and battle skills. This includes: warm- ups, conditioning, stretching, grooving, rockin’, drills, freestyle, and routines/choreographed combinations

Ballet / Tap for toddlers is an independet fun class for up and coming dancers ages 18 months to 5 years of age. This class is a great introduction for students just developing their coordination. The students come for 45 minutes a week and the teacher guides students in developing balance, technique and listening skills.

Ballet Tap for 6 - 8's builds upon Ballet Tap for Toddlers to continue a student's basis in ballet and tap. This class is a fun class that introduces the next level of technique to the student's. This combination class is a great way for students to experience the best of two classes.

Lyrical

Lyrical dance is a dance style that blends ballet and jazz dance. Lyrical is generally smoother and a bit faster than ballet, but not quite as fast as jazz.A lyrical dancer uses movement to express strong emotions such as love, joy, and anger. Lyrical dancers usually perform to music with lyrics...the lyrics of the chosen song serve as inspiration for movements and expressions.
