Historic Rep - The BS Chorus

THE BS CHORUS
The "B.S. Chorus" is a classic one chorus, 32 bar dance comprised of four steps and a repeating break. Anyone who can already do a basic Time Step and Shuffle will find this dance a pure joy. A common formula from the years of constructing tap dance routines in the Vaudeville era. The BS Chorus (“Boy Scout” Chorus) is an example of “three and a break” (do a step three times, followed by a break) Join in the fun and learn this amazing, crowd pleasing, historic routine.

The Chair Dance
Ernest “Brownie” Brown’s Copasetic Chair Dance was first done in Harlem, New York in the Hoofer’s Club and was later made famous by the legendary “Copasetics” This dance is a delight to both the dancer and the audience.

SPECIAL NOTE:
The Rhythm Room’s Historic Rep workshops will donate profits from these workshops to The West Coast Tap Dance Collective Scholarship Fund.
