Welcome to Carla's Dance Factory Parent Portal!

We are excited to have you and your dancer at Carla's Dance Factory! Once logged into the parent portal you will have access to your dancer/s account. On the main page, you will find upcoming events, fees, and other information posted here. On the other pages, you can update your account, add auto payment, make a payment, see your dancer's schedule, pull up your statement, add a picture of your dancer and so much more! Again, thank you for allowing Carla's Dance Factory to be part of your dancer's dance education.

Our Recreational classes begin on August 31st. Our Company classes begin August 15th. We will see you all soon!

Carla's Dance Factory can meet all of your dance needs...in person or virtually! Starting in September we will offer classes in the studio with strict guidelines. For a complete list of our operating procedures to keep dancers and faculty safe please email dance@carlasdancefactory.com or log into your account and send us an email.

Not comfortable sending your child to dance yet? You can choose our virtual classroom and take class whenever you want OR join any class in the studio in September through Zoom. You can purchase virtual classes by age group STARTING TODAY! For more details including prices email dance@carlasdancefactory.com or log into your account and send a message through your portal.

Studio Closures (NO Classes will be held on these dates, unless a makeup day is needed.) (Once FCBOE has the new calendar out these will be updated.):
Thanksgiving Break: November 21st through November 29th.

Picture Week: No classes are held during picture week. All pictures are done at the studio. March date TBA.

Recital: May date TBA. All students will meet at Whitewater at their designated time for dress rehersal on Satuday of recital weekend.


Welcome to Carla's Dance Factory Online Portal

We are so excited about this upcoming 2020-21 season! This will be our 36th year! We will have new classes being offered like Rhythm Works Integrated Dance Special Needs Program run by our certified teachers, an Exeptional Ballet class, Acrobatics for our 6-9-year-olds, and contemporary for our teens. We offering for this season ONLY Jazz without the required ballet for the 2020-21 season. We are currently awaiting the news about the venue for recital as Fayette School Board is currently not allowing auditorium rental. We hope that when we get closer to this time, we will have the green light to move forward.

Recreation/Satellite Students

Dear Parents and Students,

I wanted to take a moment to reach out to all of you about the studio this season. As all of you know, we quarantined the studio during March, April and May due to Covid 19 protocol and reopened for some teen classes again in June and August.

During this time we implemented many new policies to keep our students safe. Each class is assigned an entrance (we have two in the back, one on the side and the front entrance) into the studio where they are checked into their class, temperature screened and asked the standard questions. Student’s hands are sanitized as they enter the classroom. All of the classrooms are taped off into six-foot squares for social distancing. We have made some adjustments to our teaching syllabus in an effort to maintain social distancing within our recreation program. Between classes each room is mopped, wiped down and cleaned.
Additionally, we installed a specialized UV Air filtration system that continually cleans the air as it circulates through the building. The office area is now behind plexiglass, and the faculty is wearing masks. Miss Tanya wears a face shield when she exits the office, as she cannot wear a mask due to health reasons. We are requiring all students ages 6 years and older to wear a mask. Masks are optional for ages 3-5yr olds. Class size is currently limited to 12 students per CDC recommendations based on square footage of the area for our recreation program.

We understand that this is a time of uncertainty for everyone. At CDF we have made the appropriate adjustments to keep our students as safe as possible. While we hope to see you all soon, we will continue to love and care for you and your family during this unprecedented time. Safe decisions to remain healthy are the end goal. While we still aspire to recycle costumes for those classes that did not get to perform last year, we will not order new costumes for new students until we are sure that we can safely be on stage. The recital for 2021 may take on a new image with only several classes performing at a designated time, but the goal is to perform on stage. We have limited classes starting in September and will continue to add classes as the need arises through January. Let us know how we can be a part of your child’s dance education.

Company Students

Congratulations and welcome to our #CDF4L family to all our new and returning 2020-21 Company Dancers! CDF Office

There will be late fees applied for both Choreography and Competition of $25. Under NO exceptions will these be removed! You can provide a post-dated check prior to any due date to avoid the late fees.

If you are doing a solo/duet/trio/small group (not auditioned for), we will not be entering at competitions until ALL entry fees have been paid to the studio.

The Company fee will be split into 3 payments of $50 with the first one due upon registration, September, and October.

The Costume Deposits will also incur a late fee each of $10 as we are ordering costumes beginning in August/September. Costumes are ready to be signed out by a parent. Please verify your costume deposit has been paid by logging into your parent portal. If your costume deposit has not been paid, then costumes cannot be signed out until this has been paid.
