This style of dance is an outgrowth of jazz and includes movements of a percussive nature. Because this is a stylized form of dance it is to the advantage of the students that this class is taken in addition to a class in ballet or jazz for technical growth.

This is a class combination of pre-ballet and tap. Pre-ballet introduces young dancers to the age-appropriate movements of ballet. Primary Ballet/Jazz Sampler-S15
This special combination class provides students with age-appropriate ballet technique in a fun and creative environment as well as basic jazz movements to up-beat music. By offering these two dance styles in this combination class, students are able to experience a sample of both styles.

For these summer sessions, dancers may wear clothes that allow free movement along with ballet slippers or bare feet, or they may choose to be fitted with the school-year uniform and ballet slippers. To assure quality, proper fit, and uniformity, students will have shoes fitted through our school.

This class begins on July 22 and ends July 31.

Jazz/Hip Hop-S16
This blended style of dance is a combination of jazz and Hip-hop. It includes movements of a percussive nature and is an opportunity for young dancers to experience the basics of each style.

3-5 Year Old Ballet
This short-term class for ages 3-5, introduces young students to the joy of movement. Your child will have the opportunity to explore and grow, learn to listen and follow directions, create and discover, build relationships and self-confidence. This class is a perfect introduction to the benefits and fun of dance.
A complete school uniform of leotard, tights and properly-fitted ballet slippers, at a discounted rate including sales tax, is added to the one-time tuition for your convenience for this session. Please arrange fitting prior to the first class.
If you’re enrolling a boy, the school uniform is a branded, DWSD t-shirt and black ballet slippers. Please provide black biker shorts or tighter fitting black sweats. Branded t-shirt and ballet slippers is added to the tuition for your convenience. Use “BOYST” at checkout.
