Our Musical Theatre Class is our most popular class across the Academy. Training students in the three disciplines of musical theatre, drama, dance and singing; this class is both educational and jam packed with fun.
We aim to develop the skills necessary to be a musical theatre performer and also skills which will develop our students socially and emotionally. The material covered in this class is age appropriate, catering to the interests and the abilities of the student.This class offers students the opportunity to perform in our annual musical theatre production, giving each student the chance to show case what they have learned throughout the year.

Acro-Dance Primary
BRAND NEW to Bellvue this year, Acro-Dance is a unique fusion of Dance and Acrobatics. In this class, students aged 6-12yrs will focus on key elements of Acro-Dance such as balance and flexibility while also incorporating exciting choreography and self expression. Students can expect to learn acrobatic tricks and also improve their dance technique. Acro-Dance incorporates modern, jazz, contemporary and ballet dance styles and seamlessly marries them with acrobatic techniques to produce the ultimate dance experience.
All Acro-Dance classes will be taught by our trained Acro Teacher Kirsty Keating, who is affiliated with Acrobatic Arts International.

Our Theatre Totz class is designed for students aged 3-5yrs. Students express their singing voice and dance ability through a range of activities specifically designed for this age group. Classes aim to develop musical and stage awareness in an imaginative, fun and encouraging way. Students from our Totz class are also offered the end of year performance opportunity in our full scale musical production, and for many of our Totz, this performance marks their very first step onto the stage.

Speech and Drama (Primary) - Liadhain O' Shea
Our drama only class is suited to those performers who are more interested in a piece of text than in a jazz square! A fun filled class which offers training in acting. This class focuses on developing the actor in areas of speech, diction, accents, movement, physicality, improvisation and sight reading, to name but a few.
Students of the drama only class will also be offered the opportunity to perform in their own end of year production, giving each actor the chance to show case what they have learned throughout the year.
This class would serve as a good support to students who are also taking musical theatre at the academy.
Students are also given the opportunity to be prepared for Feis Maitiu and LAMDA exams which are optional.
