Stretch and Strengthen 1 - Nov. 9th
Stretch and Strengthen is a class intended to screen for and prevent injuries in dancers. Students will learn exercises to warm up and stretch safely on their own, using evidence-based movement patterns designed by a physical therapist with dancers in mind. Each student will get individual attention and guidance specifically tailored to their abilities and personal goals. During some specific classes we will have special guests from the medical community to provide further guidance and instruction.

Come develop new skills with Beginner Hip Hop! In this class, you'll learn: *Basic Hip Hop technique *Beginner tricks and floorwork *Basic Rhythm This is a 45-minute class for students new to hip hop, from 4-13 years old.

Hip Hop Level 2&3
Hip Hop 2&3 is a fun, high-energy class where students can learn to express themselves boldly to music, hone their technique and build strength. Students who have taken at least one year of dance and meet the following skill requirements may join our Level 2&3 Hip Hop class: Must be able to execute a clean single pirouette or pique turn, a front leap, a tuck jump and a grand battement. Please be aware: Class placement is ultimately at the discretion of Balance Point, so signing up for a specific level is not a promise of continued classes at that level.

Level 2 Ballet/Tap
Students who have taken at least one year of dance and meet the following skill requirements may join our Level 2 Ballet/Tap Combo class. Skill Requirements: Ballet: Must be able to execute a clean double pirouette or pique turn, a tour jete, an axle and a fouette turn. Tap: Must be able to execute a two-footed pickup, a toestand, a wing time step and rolling shuffles. Please be aware: Class placement is ultimately at the discretion of Balance Point, so signing up for a specific level is not a promise of continued classes at that level.

Level 2 Jazz
Students who have taken at least one year of dance and meet the following skill requirements may join our Level 2 Jazz class. Tumbling is a high-energy, low-stress class for students 4-8 years old. Students will learn to stretch, tumble, and roll through a variety of positions and tricks in a safe, friendly environment.

Tap: Must be able to execute a maxi ford, a time step and running flaps. Please be aware: Class placement is ultimately at the discretion of Balance Point, so signing up for a specific level is not a promise of continued classes at that level.

Contemporary is a form of dance which combines the strength and poise of ballet with the expressiveness and physicality of modern. During this class, dancers Level 1 and above will learn to apply their classical training to a more demonstrative and emotive dance style.

Acro
Acro dance combines dance technique and expressiveness with the tricks and physicality of tumbling. Students age 9 and up will enhance their flexibility and coordination and learn unique choreography with gymnastic elements.
