Pre-Pointe
*NEW*: This class will no longer meet weekly. We will have various scheduled "workshops" throughout the year, as well as providing material and videos through Google Classrooms. More info to come!
Pre-Pointe is offered to ballet students who are not yet on pointe, for further development and strengthening of the muscles necessary for going on pointe. This class allows instructors to assess readiness and offer feedback and proper evaluation of the skills necessary to advance to Pointe class.
Dancers must also be enrolled in ballet
This class does not participate in the annual recital
Dancers in Pre-Pointe will be charged a one-time Pre-Pointe Kit fee of $15.

A two-year program for juniors and seniors in high school. Dancers will participate in note-taking, class assisting, class observations, and written and oral exams.

This class consists of percussive footwork, rhythmic exercise, and general music training. Students will focus on basic rhythms in the beginning levels and progress to performing intricate and fast-paced combinations.

This class brings together all aspects of musical theater performance. Students will act, sing, and dance; learn to incorporate props; recreate and reimagine scenes from musicals; and practice their audition skills. No singing/acting experience is required.
45 minutes weekly
Students enrolled in Musical Theater will be charged a one-time class materials fee of $25.

The ballet portion of the class will focus on age-appropriate ballet skills and discipline, while the tap portion will focus on elementary tap movements and rhythmic patterns.

Pointe II, III (Thursday 7:45-8:15 PM)
Classical pointe work for the advanced and serious ballet student with several years of training.
Dancers are required to have a pointe evaluation prior to enrolling in our pointe program and enrollment is by teacher discretion.
Dancers must also be enrolled in ballet.
Dancers enrolled in Pointe 1 will be charged a one-time Pointe Kit fee of $35. Kits will be distributed in class.
