Fierce Adult Jazz
Fierce Studios has the most successful adults program on the Sunshine Coast. Dancers have continuously returned year after year for over a decade. Exercise, posture, and flexibility are only the start of what this class offers. Dancers have made life-long friends, increased their confidence, and use class as a special break from life or as an artistic outlet, all while sharing laughs in a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. All dancers are welcome, from those curious about dance to returning dancers. Jason King delivers choreography tailored to the adult dancer. Everyone is encouraged to participate in the end-of-year performance – you will discover a sense of achievement like no other. Those under 18 will have to ask for permission to join from the Director.

Fierce Adults Lyrical
Lyrical is a Slow Modern/Neo-Classical style of dance incorporating classical technique with modern expressions and a slight contemporary feel. The class is aimed at the more mature dancer that can fully express and portray emotion and feeling, and therefore consists of mainly adults (with mature-minded younger students). The lyrical class is structured with a gentle warm up, followed by technical exercises, then lyrical choreography. Classical training is beneficial but not necessary. Brigette Hodson instructs the class with warmth and humility. Dancers gravitate towards her elegance and grace. Her choreography is always inspiring and adventurous, catering to all abilities. The popularity of this class can be attributed to Brigette's past experience on the professional stage.

Fierce Studios utilizes the amazing Tapatak Oz syllabus written by Christine Denny, training the dancers step-by-step the intricacies of tap dance. The class consists of a warm up at the barre followed by corner and centre work, finishing with choreography utilising steps they have learned from the syllabus. From Tapatak Oz: "TAPATAK OZ is so much more than a Tap Syllabus. It is a unique, one of a kind, mentorship programme for both teachers and students. Tapping tips that have been garnered from a lifetime of teaching alongside fantastic amalgamations, exercises, warm ups, routines and oodles of choreography! It is a modern tap syllabus. A new tap syllabus with a new philosophy! There is simply no other system like this."
