Mommy & Me Pre-Ballet
This class is for little ones and their moms (or other family member) who are eager to begin dance classes, but not quite ready to separate and attend class alone. "Mommy" will participate in active stretching and help guide little ones through movements and activities.

For adults who are just learning or have 1 or 2 years of tap experience. Learn shuffles, ball change, scuff, broadway, irish, cramp roll, and other basic steps.

Preschool Combo 2 (Ballet/Tap)
This class continues to build on foundations of ballet and tap for our youngest dancers. Continue to learn and solidify ballet positions, plies, tendus, port de bras, shuffles, traveling steps, rhythms, and musicality.

Stretch & Strengthening (ages 18+)
This class helps to develop and strengthen the dance muscles. For example, we strengthen our feet for pointed toes and sustained forced arches, we isolate and tone our hamstrings and abductors for turns, kicks, and balance, we strengthen our core for control of movement, we work on flexibility for leaps and jumps. We leverage yoga blocks, balls, bands, and other measures to attain optimal isolation of the muscles and the mildest yet sustained stretches for developing lean but tone muscles.

Adult Tap - Beg 3/Int 1
This class is for adults that have previously taken tap class. We are working on basic turns, drawbacks, multiple sound sequencing, buffalo, irish, etc. Knowledge base should already include shuffle ball change, riff walks (scuff, heel, toes), and flaps.

Adult Ballet - Beg
This class is appropriate for beginners and those who need to ease back into dance slowly. We work on basic technique and have fun learning to dance ballet as an adult.

Adult Jazz - Int/Adv
This class is for adults who love to dance and have previously taken jazz class. We focus on improving technique, learning a variety of different styles of choreography, and maintaining and building strong bodies. Movement is dynamic, turns are multiple, and floorwork and jumps are not off limits;)!

Adult Ballet - Int/Adv
This class is for adults who have previously taken ballet class and are eager to dance again. We always focus on basics, but this class allows for advanced steps to be added into the curriculum. Goals for this class are: multiple pirhouettes, leaps, long sequences of petite allegro, proper turnout and sustained extensions, promonade, ponche, etc. Don't be intimidated, we understand it takes a while to get back into dancing and have all started fresh at some point. We work with your individual level within the given instruction to modify accordingly.

This class is intended for dancers who have had some prior dance experience. Modern, ballet, and jazz fuse in this style.

For adults who are just learning or have some previous experience in jazz dance. For instance, if you danced in high school and haven't been back in 10 years, this is your class! If you have never taken a dance class, we will work with you in this class!

Adult Contemporary - Int
Intermediate Contemporary for Adults will teach techniques of combining ballet, jazz and modern dance into one flow of movement at an intermediate level. Contemporary dance uses the dancer's breath, body and mind to create fluidity and expression in dance typically to contemporary or lyrical music. Intermediate level differs from beginning level in the difficulty in floor work and transitional movement as well as agility and expression.

Dance Team Conditioning (age 13-18)
With a focus on uniformity and dancing in a team, this class will prepare future drill team dancers and improve current drill team dancers to perform to the best of their abilities. We focus on turns, leaps, high kicks, calypso, and other common drill team movements.

Beginning Contemporary 1 (ages 7-10)
This class is for students who have previous dance experience in either or ballet/jazz/modern and are ready to fuse the genres together with fluid breath movement. This genre will expose them to floor work and movement styles that they have not encountered in other classes. Pre-requisite knowledge in the difference between parallel and turnout, pointing and flexing, leg extensions and plies are necessary to be successful in this class.
