Beginning Ballet (9-13 yrs)
This class is for those students around the age of 9-13 who have either not previously taken a dance class before or who have taken in the past, but need a refresher and help relearning old skills. We will focus on body alignment, ballet positions, basic movements and venture into some more complex movements. Dancers will engage their core muscles and begin to learn how to control their bodies to execute these movements.

We will teach at an individual pace within the group setting as most tap movements can be broken down or elaborated. If you already have mastery of flap ball change, cramp roll, and broadways, the Intermediate tap class will be better for you.

Int - Adv Jazz (13-18 yrs)
This class is intended for teens who have had previous years in jazz dance instruction and have mastered beginning level movements and are at least intermediate level. We have combined Intermediate and Advanced levels due to the size of this group of dancers and will separate the class if needed. Dancers will learn double and triple pirhouettes, become more fluent and precise in their movements, learn various leaps and jumps, learn complex combinations, and will continue to grow in their performance abilities.

Preschool Combo Ballet/Tap 1 (2.5-4 yrs)
This class will teach the foundations of ballet and tap to children age 2.5-4. No prior experience is required. We will learn 1st and 2nd positions, classroom etiquette, tendu, plie, releve, chasse and much more through the use of imagery and fun games and activities.

Adult Tap
This class is beginner and intermediate levels. We are also incorporating some advanced technique and work with everyone at their own level. From shuffles and flaps to pick ups and wings, our tappers come together to share in the love of dance in a comfortable and encouraging environment.

This class is intended for teens who have had zero to two years of previous ballet instruction. Dancers will learn ballet positions, proper alignment in those positions, and how to transition from those positions to articulate new movement. Dancers will learn basic ballet movements such as tendu, degage, ron de jambe, pirhouette, jetes, assembles, pas de bourres, and so much more.

This class will increase the speed of movements, add double time movements, learn complex combinations, and learn more advanced moves such as pullbacks, drawbacks, riff time steps, and much more.

Intermediate Ballet (9-13 yrs)
This class is intended for youth and pre-teens who have had several years of previous ballet instruction and have a mastery of beginning basic movements. Dancers will learn how to improve their turn out and technique by learning how to utilize certain muscles to initiate and sustain movements. Dancers will work on single and double pirhouettes, fondu, attitude turns, tour jetes, complex allegro combinations, leaps, learn positions of the body in space, and much more.

Adult Jazz
This class is for both new adult dancers and those who have danced previously. We are currently at a beginner to intermediate level and teach to each dancers skill level. Asking questions is encouraged, and we break down steps and can modify them as needed in a way that works with your body. We are a supportive group, not afraid of looking goofy while we learn, the awkwardness will disappear after a few lessons and your confidence will boost as we master fun combinations and strengthen our skills. Our skill focus for this class includes basic jazz steps, turns, articulation of small and fast as well as slow and sustained movement, flexibility, leg extensions, and we even jump and leap if you are able!

Boy's Club Ballet/Tap Combo (5-8 yrs)
The Boy's Club is boys only as to provide an environment and curriculum that can be tailored to young boys so that they feel more comfortable and confident in dance. This class provides the basics of ballet and tap as an introductory level for young dancers with little to no prior ballet/tap exposure. As ballet and tap are foundational in the art of hip-hop, it is highly encouraged for our young hip-hop dancers to also take this beginning combo course.

Dancers will learn how to turn in their ballet movements and stylize them to modern rhythms and sounds. Jazz hands, jazz squares, chasses, and chaines are just a few of the movements that we will share with your dancers at this level.
