This production will provide students with the opportunity
to use their many talents in one production, work with a variety of choreographers, learn about costuming and set design, learn to work with a dynamic team of community members and students, and be able to share their love for the performing arts with their community through the story of Narnia.

Revive Dance Team

ABOUT:
Revive means to restore to life or to bring new strength too. The mission of Revive Dane Team is to restore to life or to bring new strength to the dance industry by equipping participants to be able to use excellence in dance performance to be a positive and impactful influence in the dance industry. Revive Dance Team performs at select dance competitions and conventions as well as local performances and events.
AUDITIONS
All dancers MUST AUDITION on August 20th (see details below) to be part of Revive Dance Team. Rehearsals will be held on Saturdays during the fall and will switch to Fridays during the spring.
Auditions will be August 20th (Saturday):
Age: 7 -9 , 9am - 10am
Age: 10 - 13, 10:15am - 11:30am
Age: 14 - 17, 11:45am - 12:15pm
FINANCIAL COMMITMENT
Tuition for team members varies depending on the number of classes they take. It is mandatory that all Dance Team members attend a weekly Company class as well as their prerequisite classes. Students will not be charged for additional rehearsals. Revive will attend (2) competitions and (1) convention this year. The base cost of this year’s competition and convention entry fees is $500 (includes costume for routine, to be used in the Recital as well.) We allow payment plans but require that all fees be paid in full by October 31st. The first installment of at least $100 is due at registration as a deposit and is non-refundable.
Drop-outs: A $250 fee applies to any student who drops out of the team/Competition team during the dance season, for the instructor to re-choreograph and rearrange the competition routines.
*Specialty group routines, including solos, duets and trios, may be asked to compete. Rehearsal times for these routines will be outside of their Company class time. There are extra fees per these rehearsals for the instructor/choreographer’s time. Students and parents may request specialty routines on the intake form, but the final casting and music choices will be made by the instructor. Specialty fees will include four one hour sessions of private instruction with the choreographer, and then the dancer(s) will rehearse their dances during Company class rehearsals. Specialty fees are as follows:
· Solos $350 per dancer
· Duets $180 per dancer
· Trios $170 per dancer
· Groups $160 per dancer
It is mandatory that all team members have a Revive Dance Team jacket for events such as competitions/conventions/performances. A team jacket will cost a one-time fee of $100 (jacket with company logo and dancer’s name). Dancers must wear their jackets upon arrival and when leaving all competitions, conventions, and performances. It is also highly recommended that dancers have a costume bag to keep costumes clean and protected during transportation.
Competition is expensive! We are willing to work with you. If you have any concerns, please come talk to us and we will do our best to help you.
