Adults of all ages learn the fundamentals of ballet. The class will emphasize movement, stretching, and toning for fitness. Exercises are fun, easy on the joints, and stress reducing. The teacher will teach exercises and explain how each movement can be leveled up or down to work with classes of different experience levels. The class is for adults of all ages with no dance experience, former dancers who have not danced in several years, active senior citizens, advanced beginners, and intermediate dancers. All movements will be done at the barre. There will be no floor work and no sitting on the floor.

Performers practice vocal exercises and learn how to use the correct muscles to sing loud, clear, and expressively. Choreographed numbers to renowned Broadway music are performed, and students have fun taking on many different characters. This is a mixed age class, and the different aged performers provide a multitude of opportunities for scene and character building.

The $25 registration fee is for ballet shoes, not June tuition.

Valentine's Parent/Child Party
DTL's Valentine Parent/Child Party is Friday, February 11, 2022 from 3:45-5:00. There will be a 30 minute dance party for parent and child to dance together, followed by a snack of pink cocoa and cookies, and a valentine craft.

Party goers should wear their favorite Valentine themed outfit. Children wear bare feet or ballet shoes, in the studio. Parents can wear socks, bare feet, or dance shoes.

We are excited for fun and memory making!A festa de pais/filhos dos namorados da DTL é sexta-feira, 11 de fevereiro de 2022, das 3h45 às 17h. Haverá uma festa dançante de 30 minutos para pais e filhos dançarem juntos, seguido de um lanche de chocolate rosa e biscoitos e um artesanato de dia dos namorados. Os festeiros devem usar sua roupa favorita com tema dos namorados. As crianças usam pés descalços ou sapatilhas de balé, no estúdio. Os pais podem usar meias, pés descalços ou sapatos de dança. Estamos empolgados com a diversão e a criação de memórias!

La fiesta de padres e hijos de San Valentín de DTL es el viernes 11 de febrero de 2022 de 3:45 a 5:00. Habrá una fiesta de baile de 30 minutos para que padres e hijos bailen juntos, seguida de un refrigerio de chocolate rosado y galletas, y una manualidad de San Valentín. Los asistentes a la fiesta deben usar su atuendo favorito con el tema de San Valentín. Los niños usan pies descalzos o zapatillas de ballet en el estudio. Los padres pueden usar calcetines, pies descalzos o zapatos de baile. ¡Estamos emocionados por la diversión y la creación de recuerdos!
