Ballet requires strength and patience because of its difficult technical elements. Taking years to develop, the body is set in various positions and poses which require flexibility in the back, legs, rib cage, and feet. Dedication to study over an extended period of time will increase fluidity, grace, and technique among other important elements of dance. Body placement, flexibility, alignment, strength and technique are achieved through barre and center floor work.

Strong technique is recommended for this class, allowing experienced dancers to push new boundaries of body movement.

Tumble Bugs - No Recital
This class is designed to introduce the world of Acro to our littlest dancers! Acro is very similar to gymnastics, but focuses on the floor portion of gymnastics only. Each class will incorporate stretching to help with flexibility, as well as strengthening. This is a 45 minute class held each week. This class will not perform in the recital. We allow 1 guardian to wait in the back lobby and observe the class by watching the TV feed provided.

Your dancer should wear "athletic wear" and bare feet. Please no dresses, skirts, or jeans. They should also have their hair pulled away from their face.

Your ballerinas should wear a leotard and tights, ballet slippers or socks. If you don't have dance wear for her this week, no worries. They should also have their hair pulled away from their face.

Our Ballerina Princesses will learn new dances, play princess games, hear princess stories, share snacks and make crafts. At the conclusion of their week together, the ballerina princesses will invite their parent/guardian to a special performance and royal tea party.
What to wear: leotard, tights and ballet slippers. Ballet skirts are optional. No bare feet or street shoes are permitted on the dance floor. Hair should be pulled away from the dancer's face either in a ponytail or bun. On the last day of camp, all the girls are invited to come dressed in their princess outfits. These small ballerinas will also have the opportunity to meet a royal princess and have their picture taken with her! No tiaras please, one will be provided!

Contemporary can be danced to almost any style of music, or united with other dance forms to create new styles of movement. Contemporary seeks to work with the natural alignment of the body. Strong technique is recommended for this class, allowing experienced dancers to push new boundaries of body movement.

Rock Star Camp 2024

During camp week, our VIP Rock Stars will dance, sing, make crafts, have delish snacks, play rockin' games, make a music video and have a red carpet photo shoot! At the conclusion of the week, parents are invited to attend a 1/2 hour dance party and paparazzi photo shoot! Rock Stars should wear a leotard, dance shorts or pants, and jazz shoes. No bare feet or street shoes are permitted. Hair should be pulled away from the face in a ponytail. On the last day of camp, our VIP Rock Stars are invited to come to camp dressed in their best dancing diva outfits!

Tumble Bugs - No Recital
This class is designed to introduce the world of Acro to our littlest dancers! Acro is very similar to gymnastics, but focuses on the floor portion of gymnastics only. Each class will incorporate stretching to help with flexibility, as well as strengthening. This is a 45 minute class held each week. This class will not perform in the recital. We allow 1 guardian to wait in the back lobby and observe the class by watching the TV feed provided.

Your dancer should wear "athletic wear" and bare feet. Please no dresses, skirts, or jeans. They should also have their hair pulled away from their face.
