Dancers will find ways to express themselves through storytelling of the lyrics or the music itself. Dancers learn improvisation techniques, how to emote their feelings, and incorporate technique.
Modern - Focuses on own interpretations instead of structured steps. Dancers reject the limitations of classical ballet and favor movements derived from the expression of their inner feelings. Study diverse movements encompassing a scientific study of the capacity of the body through space effort and shape. Horton, Graham, Limon, Lewitsky, techniques will be studied.

Focuses on the strength and technique of feet and ankles needed for Pointe work. Dancers must take at least two hours of Ballet class. Dancers will be tested for Demi-Pointe shoes after 1 year in the class.
Pointe technique is the part of classical ballet technique that a ballet dancer support all body weight on fully extended feet. Dancers must take two additional hours of ballet and pre-pointe class. Dancers are required to be tested by the studio and a physical therapist. Two years of pre-pointe required to be considered for pointe shoes.
*No recital performance unless approved by instructor
