Creative movements and visualizations will be used for younger AcroDancers.

Different styles of Tap may be taught including: Classical, Broadway, Jazz, and Rhythm Tap. Students will also learn tap terminology. Adult students are not required to perform in the annual recital, but have the opportunity to do so, if they choose.

Movement for the Mind

Movement for the Mind is an introduction to all types of dance. General movement will be emphasized. Children will work through 8 developmental patterns (as used in BrainDance), using games, music, play, and dance. This class is for 3-5 year old students.
Movement stimulates brain growth and promotes brain health! The brain has plasticity-through movement, sensory input, and repetition with novelty, the brain can create new neurons and neural pathways (Brain-Compatible Dance Education, Anne Green Gilbert).
