Our beginning level ballet classes are for those dancers who are either new to ballet or moving up from "combo" level classes. Dancers begin to move through the rudimentary structure of a standard ballet class, including barre and center practice, while greatly expanding their knowledge of movement and terminology. The goal for this class is to solidify basic ballet terminology and movement, as well as developing a greater awareness of technical ballet concepts.

A class for students who are more comfortable with the elementary positions of classical ballet and can move easily through the barre and center floor work. Our ballet technique classes are the foundation for training in all dance genres and focus on developing a solid ballet technique with emphasis on understanding correct body placement, proper use of turn out, coordination of the upper body (epaulement), and use of arms (port de bras). Clear explanations of exercises and theory help students increases their use of the ballet vocabulary in a simple, practical way that leads to increased technical understanding, healthy physical development, and lifelong enjoyment.

A more involved ballet class for students who have shown increased knowledge of classical ballet terms and technique. This class will take the technique previously learned and build upon them to strengthen the dancer's precision and ability. Students will advance on to more difficult skills and utilize both barre and centre floor work to improve their technique. Students with strong ballet technique, sufficient core and ankle strength, and a teacher's recommendation go on to study 'en pointe' (Pointe Shoes).

This open/drop in class is for all high school and college age dancers. The class will rotate through different styles each week – those styles will include Jazz Technique, Contemporary, Lyrical, and Jazz Combos. Technique will focus on different advanced turn and jump combos to help prepare dancers for both high school and college dance teams/tryouts. Aside from technique, the other style classes will run similar to a Master class with a quick and effective warm up/stretch followed by a dance combo and group dancing. Each class will also involve improvisation, with tips shared on how to feel more comfortable with improvisation. These classes are for dancers wanting extra training and gives them flexibility to drop in when they can. We want to provide dancers an open, safe, and worry-free zone to come and dance with other dancers from around the valley while improving their skills as they focus on themselves and their love for dance!

Our "Dance With Me" class is a special 30-minute dance class designed for toddlers (18 months to 3 years) where a parent or guardian joins them during their dance class. It is a fun way for moms (or dads, grandparents, nanny's, aunts or uncles) and their toddlers to connect with each other in a playful environment and also interact with other little ones. This class introduces toddlers to our studio and classroom expectations in order to make sure they feel comfortable learning to dance with us before progressing to one of our more independant combo classes at age 3.

This is an advanced jazz technique class focusing specifically on leaps, jumps, and turns. ACRO/TUMBLE: Back Handspring Focus (must have evaluation)
Back Handspring Focus Tumbling is an ability based class and requires an evaluation by our Tumbling Director. In this class, tumblers will continue mastering their current skills, while advancing their education in the skills necessary for more intricate tumbling passes. Tumbling is an important foundation for our Competition Dance Teams, as well as school cheerleading, drill teams & dance companies.

ACRO/TUMBLE: Tots (3-4 yrs)
Our specially designed Acro/Tumble Tots curriculum is used to provide a safe and progressive approach to learning, that gives your child many opportunities to succeed and be praised. Acro/Tumble Tots is an age based class providing tremendous developmental benefits for children ages 3-4 yrs. In this class your tumbler will learn hand-eye coordination (important for writing), eye-tracking (needed for reading readiness), locomotor movement skills (challenging the child’s growing mind and body) and social skills (learning to work with others, sharing and taking turns). All of which make a significant impact on learning and maturity.

Tap II
This class is designed for those with some experience of tap dance. Tap classes focus on rhythm, musicality and timing. All classes begin with an energetic warm-up, across the floor exercises and combinations. Our more beginner students explore the fundamental steps of tap
dance, learn tap terminology and develop the ability to maintain correct body placement, as well as the ear, or ability to understand music. A small portion of the course will be dedicated to learning about and honoring historical tap figures to gain a holistic understanding of the art form.

Dance With Me Ballet/Jazz (Adult & Child class)
Our "Dance With Me" class is a special 30-minute dance class designed for toddlers (18 months to 3 years) where a parent or guardian joins them during their dance class. It is a fun way for moms (or dads, grandparents, nanny's, aunts or uncles) and their toddlers to connect with each other in a playful environment and also interact with other little ones. This class introduces toddlers to our studio and classroom expectations in order to make sure they feel comfortable learning to dance with us before progressing to one of our more independant combo classes at age 3.

Jazz I/II Technique 5-10 yrs (need evaluation to register)
BEG+ COMPETITION TEAM-**requires audition to enroll.
Our beginning+ jazz dance technique class is for dancers who have learned the basic technical jazz skills already, and wish to perfect those as well as work on new progressions. Dancers will learn the proper technique for more difficult skills, such as calypsos, center leaps, double pirouettes, may begin working on turns in second and skill progressions across the floor. The goal is to build dancers' style and confidence while working on musicality and the ability to pick up choreography and connect steps and skills together with fun, upbeat music. This class does not participate in any recitals.

"Shining Stars" Ballet/Jazz Kinder Combo 5-6 yrs
Our SHINING STARS CLASS is a ballet/jazz combo class for dancers ages 5-6 yrs. old.
Combination classes are a great way for students to experience different types of dance genres with the main focus on having fun and enjoying dance! Each week dancers will experience a "themed" creative dance experience. Pair this combo class with one of our monthly themed lesson plans and you’ve just cooked up a recipe for fun! This class will build on social classroom skills for both boys and girls and focuses on basic ballet and jazz dance skills to develop strength, coordination, balance, musicality, timing, and flexibility in an active environment.

Jazz dance is an exploration of style and presentation. This is a beginner-friendly jazz dance class for all ages. Dancers will learn the beginning steps of jazz and work on picking up choreography sequences that fuse together style and technique. Classes emphasize musicality and body alignment, conditioning, stretch and strengthening, rhythm and stylization as well as fun and innovative choreography.

Jazz III "Juniors"
Jazz dance is an exploration of style and presentation. The movement explores a range of styles in both lyrical and percussive disciplines with a focus on jazz elements such as isolations, swing, and rhythm. The goal is to develop dancers who are expressive, dynamic, musical and passionate. This is an intermediate jazz dance class for ages 9+ yrs. Classes emphasize musicality and body alignment, conditioning, stretch and strengthening, rhythm and stylization as well as fun and innovative choreography.
