Ballet/Tap Combo
This is an introduction to ballet and tap for kids ages 3-4 years old. Classes will focus on following directions, building basic motor skills and introducing basic Ballet and Tap steps. The first half of class is Ballet and the second half of class is Tap. This class does participate in the recital, the dancers will perform a short Ballet and Tap routine. Class attire is pink leotard, pink tights and full-sole ballet shoes. Skirts are okay as long as they are attached to the leotard.

This is a combo Ballet and Tap class for kids ages 5-6 years old. The first half of class is Ballet where kids will learn basic Ballet steps and work on technique at the barre. The second half of class is Tap where kids will learn how to count music and basic tap steps. In the later months January-May, this class will focus on learning a routine for Ballet and Tap for the end of the year dance recital. Class attire is lavender leotard (no skirt), pink tights, full-sole ballet shoes for Ballet and black tap shoes for tap.

This is a Tap class for kids ages 7-10 years old that have had 0-2 years of tap experience. This class will focus on counting music, understanding timing and introducing basic tap steps. In the later months January-May, this class will focus on learning a routine for the end of the year dance recital. Class attire is comfortable dance attire and black tie tap shoes. See Dress Code section on website for recommendations on tap shoe brands.

Advanced Beginner Tap
This is a Tap class for kids ages 10 years old and up that have had at least a year of tap experience and have an understanding of basic tap steps. This class will focus on counting music, understanding timing, mastering basic tap steps, increasing speed and working on choreography. In the later months January-May, this class will focus on learning a routine for the end of the year dance recital. Class attire is comfortable dance wear and black tie tap shoes. See Dress Code section on the website for recommendations on tap shoe styles.

This is a combo Ballet and Jazz class for kids ages 5-6 years old. The first half of class is Ballet where kids will learn basic Ballet steps and work on technique at the barre. The second half of class is Jazz where kids will work on stretching to increase flexibility, strengthening exercises and basic jazz technique. In the later months January-May, this class will focus on learning a routine for each Ballet & Jazz for the end of the year dance recital. Class attire is lavender leotard (no skirt), pink tights, full-sole ballet shoes for Ballet and tan slip-on jazz shoes for Jazz.

Lyrical
To participate in Lyrical, dancers must be enrolled in a Ballet class or have at least 3 consecutive years of Ballet training. Lyrical dance has a strong focus on Ballet technique and also incorporates floor work along with storytelling choreography. This class will focus on new ways to move with incorporating dynamics, turns, leg extensions and dancing with expression. Starting in January, dancers will start to work on their recital routine. Class attire is leotard/shorts or sports bra/dance top and leggings with half sole pirouettes (shoes).

Class attire is a black leotard (no skirt), pink tights and pink full-sole ballet shoe. Hair should be secured back, preferably in a bun.

This is a beginner Jazz class for kids ages 9-11 years old. Students in this class should have had at least one year of Ballet training or currently enrolled in Ballet. In class kids will focus flexibility, strengthening exercises, basic Jazz technique, kicks, turns and learning dance routines. In later months Januray-May, this class will be working on the recital dance. Class attire is leotard/shorts or dance top/leggings with tan slip-on jazz shoes.

This class will focus on tumbling concepts, building strength, rolls, cartwheels, handstands and backbends. This class does not participate in the dance recital. Class attire is biketard, leotard/shorts or dance top/leggings. No shoes and hair should be secured back.

Students in this class should already have an L handstand, forward roll, backward roll and bridge.This class will focus on building strength and working on tricks such as handstands, cartwheels, backbends and front limbers. Students in this class should already have a handstand, cartwheel and backbend. This class will focus on building strength and working on tricks such as round-offs, front limbers, front & back walkovers and front handsprings. Adult Hip Hop
Adult Hip Hop is a class for all! No experience needed! We are there to have fun and exercise! Class will start with a follow along warmup. The warmup consists of cardio, grooves, isolations and stretching. This class does not focus on one style of Hip Hop but instead has a little bit of many styles. The second half of class, we work on choreography. We usually work on one piece of choreography for two weeks and then start a new one.

Adult Tap
Adult Tap is taught at a beginner - advanced beginner level. No experience necessary! This class will focus on learning the basic tap steps, timing, rhythm and choreography. Each session will learn combination that will be worked on and added to throughout the session.
