Tap is a unique style of dance involving specific and rapid footwork. The dancer's foot and shoe essentially act as a drum, and each part of the shoe makes a particular beat and sound. Level 3 is designed to build upon the concepts and techniques learned in Level 2. Dancers can register for this class after passing Tap Level 2 or by invitation from the director or instructor.

Ballet III
Prerequisite: Completion of the Ballet Level 2 curriculum.
In Ballet 3, the student will continue to develop strength and coordination with more technically demanding work. There is still a heavy focus on posture, alignment and placement of the feet to insure a strong foundation for the upper grades and pointe work. The student will be challenged to learn all the material in French, though English translations will be provided.
Dancers can register for this class if they have passed Ballet Level 2 or by invitation from the director or instructor. Strongly recommended twice a week.

Ballet IV
In Ballet Level 4, quality and coordination are the elements on which we focus. The more advanced work in Ballet 4 directly relates to the development of strong ankles and core balance, which are both critical for pointe work. Almost everything in Ballet 4 relates directly to pointe work. Ballet 4 students will begin each class with pointe work at the barre, and, with the advancement of the dancers, move into centre pointe work. It is recommended students participate in Ballet Level 4 for a minimum of two (2) years in order to master the technical and artistic skills necessary to continue to Ballet Level 5.
Dancers can only register for this class after completing Ballet Level 3 Technique or by invitation of the director or instructor. Required twice a week with an optional third (3rd) class.

Ballet V
Students in Ballet Level 5 continue learning the concepts of alignment and rotation as well as exercises to reinforce these concepts. French vocabulary and English translations are used in class and the students are expected to memorize the dance positions, five basic arm positions, seven movements in dance, five arabesques, two attitudes, and be able to identify the numbering system for the walls and corners of the dance space. This class is performed en pointe.

This class is designed as an introductory class for our newest pointe dancers and is designed to take them through the most entry level pointe work curriculum to ensure proper placement and alignment en pointe.
Dancers can only register for this class if they are enrolled in the accompanying Ballet Level 3 technique class and have passed the Pointe Qualifications and been given their Pointe Promotion.

An introduction to the classical ballet class designed for students transitioning from a Preschool combo class, or those who are brand new to classical ballet technique. Class follows the classical ballet progression of barre, centre floor work, and across the floor combinations.
The Ballet Level 1 curriculum is designed to be taught and executed over a two (2) year period. The Ballet Level 1 curriculum is designed for dancers ages 5-8 years old, to begin learning the concepts of alignment and rotation as well as simple exercises to reinforce these concepts. French vocabulary and English translations are used in class, and the students are expected to memorize the dance vocabulary as well as learn concepts of spacing.

Ballet Level 2 students (usually age 8 or older) begin learning the concepts of alignment and rotation as well as simple exercises to reinforce these concepts. French vocabulary and English translations are used in class and the students are expected to memorize the dance vocabulary as well as the theories of movement related to feet and arms, body positions, movements in dance, and be able to identify the numbering system for the walls and corners of a dance space. There is heavy focus on posture, alignment and placement of the feet to insure proper development for the upper levels and to prepare for pointe work. This is the “Phonics Level” of academic ballet. It is technically demanding for the beginner student and not at all an easy level to master. It takes a lot of work and perseverance but, in the end, it can produce a well-balance, centered, strong, and graceful beginning dancer. This level takes at least two (2) years to master.
Dancers can register for this class after passing Ballet Level 1 Technique or by invitation from the director or instructor.

This class is specifically designed for our acro students who are currently working on their back handsprings, front handsprings, and aerials.
Our Acro program is based on the AcroDance curriculum created by industry leader, Acrobatic Arts. Our curriculum covers anatomy, technique, progressions, lesson planning, choreography, and more! Developed with input from over 100 experts in related fields, it's the most well-researched program in the industry. Students registering for this class need to be able to do a proper cartwheel using correct technique and a standing backbend and be able to stand up from this backbend. *We are an Acrobatic Arts certified studio.

Acro combines skills of both dance and gymnastics into a comprehensive class that focuses on developing strength, flexibility, balance, coordination, concentration, muscle control, and discipline. Dancers study acrobatic techniques and explore how these techniques can be applied to other forms of dance. Skills required: Skipping, Bridge with head off the floor and hold for 20 seconds, Seal Walk, Forward Roll, Crab Walk , Pre-Cartwheel left and right (cartwheel progression), and gallop with alternating legs *We are an Acrobatic Arts certified studio.

French vocabulary and English translations are used in class and the students are expected to memorize the dance vocabulary as well as the theories of movement related to feet and arms, body positions, movements in dance, and be able to identify the numbering system for the walls and corners of a dance space. There is heavy focus on posture, alignment and placement of the feet to insure proper development for the upper levels and to prepare for pointe work. This is the “Phonics Level” of academic ballet. It is technically demanding for the beginner student and not at all an easy level to master. It takes a lot of work and perseverance but, in the end, it can produce a well-balance, centered, strong, and graceful beginning dancer. This level takes at least two (2) years to master.
Dancers can register for this class after passing Ballet Level 1 Technique or by invitation from the director or instructor.

Ballet IV
In Ballet Level 4, quality and coordination are the elements on which we focus. The more advanced work in Ballet 4 directly relates to the development of strong ankles and core balance, which are both critical for pointe work. Almost everything in Ballet 4 relates directly to pointe work. Ballet 4 students will begin each class with pointe work at the barre, and, with the advancement of the dancers, move into centre pointe work. It is recommended students participate in Ballet Level 4 for a minimum of two (2) years in order to master the technical and artistic skills necessary to continue to Ballet Level 5.
Dancers can only register for this class after completing Ballet Level 3 Technique or by invitation of the director or instructor. Required twice a week with an optional third (3rd) class.

Ballet V
Students in Ballet Level 5 continue learning the concepts of alignment and rotation as well as exercises to reinforce these concepts. French vocabulary and English translations are used in class and the students are expected to memorize the dance positions, five basic arm positions, seven movements in dance, five arabesques, two attitudes, and be able to identify the numbering system for the walls and corners of the dance space. This class is performed en pointe.

Acro I
AcroDance technique includes flexibility, strength, balance, tumbling, and -everyone's favorite- contortion. Acro combines skills of both dance and gymnastics into a comprehensive class that focuses on developing strength, flexibility, balance, coordination, concentration, muscle control, and discipline. Dancers study acrobatic techniques and explore how these techniques can be applied to other forms of dance. Skills required: Skipping, Bridge with head off the floor and hold for 20 seconds, Seal Walk, Forward Roll, Crab Walk , Pre-Cartwheel left and right (cartwheel progression), and gallop with alternating legs *We are an Acrobatic Arts certified studio.
