Lyrical dance is a style that combines ballet and jazz dancing techniques. It is performed to music with lyrics so that it inspires expression of strong emotions the choreographer/dance feels from the lyrics of the song. This class is for dancers interested in exploring lyrical dance for the first time. Dancers will be introduced to different turn variations, kicks, and improv dance.
Dancers need to wear leotard and tights and will need pink ballet shoes.
