Move! Freeze! Slo Mo… Smile… Frown… Inhale…Giggle! ...Now, hold perfectly still…wait…wait…. When you act with your WHOLE body, the WHOLE audience gets it! Playing characters with clear and understandable techniques, physical attitudes, rhythm and movement styles reaches into the actor’s soul and touches the heart of everyone watching. Mime and physical acting shows students how to use the poetry and drama of movement to create and show so many different thoughts and feelings.

Learn how to demonstrate steps and assist with a dance class for different levels of dancers. Dancers will practice taking turns leading an exercise with the correct technique and musicality, learn how to make corrections, and practice assisting with problems that may arise in a class. This camp is all about building dancers’ confidence and growing leadership skills.
