Boy on a Second Ballroom Team
When boys are on a second Jr/Yth A or B Team or a PreTeen Team (depending on their age), it gives them the opportunity to be in additional dances at the competitions and performances, learn more in the weekly classes, and it gives more of our returning girls the opportunity to dance. It's a lot of fun and it's beneficial to everyone! Tuition for boys second team is only $25/month and the costume fee for his second team is waived. We really appreciate our boys that "Dance Double"! We’re excited to have you join us for Summer Ballroom Camp! Dancers will come each day for fun classes that will be divided into different age and ability levels. Early registration (by May 18th) includes a fun t-shirt included in the cost of camp! Everyone is welcome to register and attend camp whether or not you’ve danced at our studio before. This is a great opportunity for friends to come and try our studio and everyone can learn something new, make new friends, improve your ballroom skills, and have lots of fun! Everyone is welcome to join us for camp but please note that if new girls would like to register for our 2024-2025 teams you’re required to register (for teams) with a boy that’s also new to our studio, of similar age and ability level. 9-12 yrs for Preteens, 13-17 yrs for Jr/Yth. This is just to help our boy/girl ratio, you won’t be their assigned partner for the year. Ballroom camp is a great opportunity for boys to TRY ballroom and see how much fun it is. Most boys think they won’t like ballroom until they try it! Invite your friends, everyone is welcome at camp!
**If you’re an experienced dancer and you help friends register for camp that have less experience (or no experience), you’re welcome to attend your session of camp AND their session at no additional cost. Please text and let us know if you’re doing this so we can have an accurate head-count for class.
TIMES AND COST
We'll have classes on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday divided into different age and ability levels. On Thursday night we'll have our Annual Family Potluck in the Park!

HOW TO REGISTER FOR SUMMER BALLROOM CAMP:
Returning dancers:
Log into your Parent Portal account, look for “Summer 2024”, add the correct session, A, B, or C. then click SUBMIT. It will ask you to pay your camp fee at that time, but you can choose whether you’d like to pay through the Parent Portal with a debit/credit card and complete your registration, or you can click SUBMIT then leave your registration “pending” and pay with Venmo @danceconservatory or with cash or check and I'll enter the payment onto your account within a few days and complete your registration. (I may not see the “pending” registrations right away so please check in with me so I can watch for your payment and get that entered for you).
Remember to text me at 208-589-0382 and tell me your t-shirt size by May 18th so I can order your shirt!

Please wear a t-shirt with joggers, basketball shorts, or a skirt with leggings underneath. No leggings unless they're worn underneath a skirt. T-shirts must have sleeves and be long enough to cover your stomach when your arms are raised. No low-cut, crop tops, or tank tops. Please be freshly showered and wear antiperspirant, no cologne or perfume. Girls, please wear your hair in a secure bun if it’s long enough.
FOOD RESTRICTIONS? We'll be having a popsicle break and will provide popsicles for you. If you have dietary restrictions please text me so we can get a treat for you!

We’re excited to have you join us for Summer Ballroom Camp! Dancers will come each day for fun classes that will be divided into different age and ability levels. Early registration (by May 18th) includes a fun t-shirt included in the cost of camp! Everyone is welcome to register and attend camp whether or not you’ve danced at our studio before. This is a great opportunity for friends to come and try our studio and everyone can learn something new, make new friends, improve your ballroom skills, and have lots of fun! Everyone is welcome to join us for camp but please note that if new girls would like to register for our 2024-2025 teams you’re required to register (for teams) with a boy that’s also new to our studio, of similar age and ability level. 9-12 yrs for Preteens, 13-17 yrs for Jr/Yth. This is just to help our boy/girl ratio, you won’t be their assigned partner for the year. Ballroom camp is a great opportunity for boys to TRY ballroom and see how much fun it is. Most boys think they won’t like ballroom until they try it! Invite your friends, everyone is welcome at camp!
**If you’re an experienced dancer and you help friends register for camp that have less experience (or no experience), you’re welcome to attend your session of camp AND their session at no additional cost. Please text and let us know if you’re doing this so we can have an accurate head-count for class.

It’s also a great opportunity for others to TRY it and see if you might like to audition.

Boy on a Second Ballroom Team
When boys are on a second Jr/Yth A or B Team or a Preteen Team (depending on their age), it gives them the opportunity to be in additional dances at the competitions and performances, learn more in the weekly classes, and it gives more of our returning girls the opportunity to dance. It's a lot of fun and it's beneficial to everyone! Tuition for boys' second team is only $25/month and the costume fee for his second team is waived. We really appreciate our boys that "Dance Double"! (This discounted price ONLY applies to Jr/Yth A or B Teams and Preteen Teams. Lift Team doesn't count as a "2nd Team")
