THIS CLASS IS A NON-RECITAL CLASS.

This class will focus on basic technique, stretching, and conditioning.

Junior Jazz
This class will introduce/review and challenge students with intermediate jazz technique and terminology.

The class curriculum is based on a ballet technique layered with traditional jazz movement and includes a proper warm-up, stretches, isolations, across-the-floor progressions, and combinations.
Jazz dress code
Fitted dancewear or athletic clothing including a leotard, unitard, crop top, shorts, fitted tops. Recommended Jazz Shoe: Slip-On Jazz Shoe

Petite Ballet
This beginning level class is designed to develop awareness of alignment and basic ballet terminology and technique. Class will include basic barre exercises, as well as center work.

Students should wear solid color leotard and tights. Pink ballet shoes. Hair should be worn up and out of the face (preferably in a bun).

Students will also learn center and loco motor progressions as well as proper stretching techniques to enhance strength and flexibility. Basic Jazz dance terminology is discussed as well as center and across the floor techniques, and short choreographed combinations.

This class focuses on safety, flexibility, strength, beginning and finishing positions, and proper body, foot, and leg positions. Skills include splits, bridges, forward rolls, handstands, cartwheels, round-offs, and beginning walkovers.

Dress Code for Acro: Any leotard, booty short, or tight-fitting tops (ie crop top) that will not fall over the face when a dancer is tumbling. Bare feet are required.

This class builds upon skills learned in Acro I and focuses on increased flexibility, strength, and consistency of proper skill execution. Skills front and back walkovers, round-offs, handstands, and handsprings, front and side aerials, acrobatic partnering, and the combination of moves in tumbling passes.

Dress Code: Any leotard, booty short, or tight-fitting tops (ie crop top) that will not fall over the face when a dancer is tumbling. Bare feet are required.
