A fun and exciting introduction to dance class for 18 months to 4 years (4 year olds who are starting Reception should join our Rec-Y2 class). Exploring a variety of styles from Ballet, Tap to Disco, Jazz. The perfect start class to grow your childs confidence and get your little one moving to music! Fun class for Parents and children to enjoy - parent/guardians are asked to stay with children in the studio and help them to join in but adults must follow social distancing guidelines with other parents.

This class is an excellent way for children to be introduced to the many benefits of the performing arts, gain self-confidence and a sense of accomplishment. Tap shoes are preferred but don't worry if they don't have any at first :)

We are an Acrobatic Arts official certified studio, offering safe and effective progression in Acro Gymnastics covering flexibility, strength, balancing, limbering and tumbling. Dancers who train through Acrobatic Arts have balanced development, are stronger, more flexible and fearless!!
Developed with input from professionals and experts in ballet, modern dance, jazz, contortion, artistic gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics, sport acrobatics, yoga, acro yoga, pilates, physiotherapy, hand balancing and more, you will not find a more comprehensive program.

Acro Gymnastics, or acro as it is commonly referred to by dancers and dance professionals, is the beautiful fusion of classic dance technique and the precision and athleticism of acrobatic elements. Often defined by unique choreography, acro dancers seamlessly blend musicality, emotional expression, line and extension with acrobatic movements in a dance context.

Acro is an especially challenging style for dancers to master as training in both dance and acrobatic elements is required. Acro technique includes balancing, limbering, tumbling and partnering, based in flexibility, contortion and strength.

Dancers will all have their own progress card which we will work through and 'tick' off when skills are mastered in classes. Once a dancer has completed their skills card for a level they will then progress on to the next level.

We have all the best equipment from Mats, Acro Pad, Air tracks, Wedge Mats, Bands, Blocks, Stacks to help develop the dancers confidence, technique and skills.

Our adult dance classes are a great way to jump back into dance or to try something new. Get on your feet and make some noise! This all level class will focus on the progression of steps from the basics, how to articulate your feet and ankles as well as explore musicality, rhythm, and syncopation. Tap shoes are required, but don't worry if you haven't got any for your first class.

This style of dance has a strong focus on extensions, control, balance and flexibility. Dancers will learn to capture the mood of music through movement and expression. Stretching has a number of benefits for dancers. Stretching helps keep muscles long, while exercise gives them additional strength. This class will teach how stretching properly helps to prevent injury, by making the muscles more pliable. In addition, students will work on improving posture, increasing flexibility and range of motion and strengthening the muscles. It will also aim at increasing the core body strength essential for a dancer using techqniues from Alixa Flexibility and MuvMethod.

This class is currently only open to adults who regularly attended the Modern, Tap or Street class on Tuesday evenings. Due to timetable restrictions because of COVID 19 we have combined the three classes to do 15 mins of each, but we ask all who attend to take part in all the class, even if you learn a section of a style you don't do just for fun for now :) . There is also the option to participate in the class on Zoom, but you will need to enrol on here and pay for the class as normal to receive the zoom class details. As soon as we are able to resume the adult classes to how they were before we will do this is just an interim arrangement which we hope you will appreciate :)

An exciting mix of styles including Street, Freestyle Disco, Cheer, and Musical Theatre - We will be combining styles to create a VERY exciting and fun class to get pupils moving, enjoying dance and having a chance to explore new styles too! This class is amazing for a childs confidence and for their overall fitness. Be Prepared to have LOTS of sweaty fun and learn lots of awesome routines too!

This fun and exciting class inspires creativity and teaches progressions on the fundamentals of ballet and tap. Students will develop musicality, coordination, strength, flexibility, dance technique, rhythm, and body awareness in a caring, nurturing environment. This class is an excellent way for children explore the many benefits of the performing arts, gain self-confidence and a sense of accomplishment. Tap shoes are preferred but don't worry if they don't have any at first :)

Y6 - Y8 - Contemporary + Stretch - Saturday
This style of dance has a strong focus on extensions, control, balance and flexibility. Dancers will learn to capture the mood of music through movement and expression. Stretching has a number of benefits for dancers. Stretching helps keep muscles long, while exercise gives them additional strength. This class will teach how stretching properly helps to prevent injury, by making the muscles more pliable. In addition, students will work on improving posture, increasing flexibility and range of motion and strengthening the muscles. It will also aim at increasing the core body strength essential for a dancer using techqniues from Alixa Flexibility and MuvMethod.

Y6 - Y8 - Acro Gymnastics - Saturday
We are an Acrobatic Arts official certified studio, offering safe and effective progression in Acro Gymnastics covering flexibility, strength, balancing, limbering and tumbling. Dancers who train through Acrobatic Arts have balanced development, are stronger, more flexible and fearless!!
Developed with input from professionals and experts in ballet, modern dance, jazz, contortion, artistic gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics, sport acrobatics, yoga, acro yoga, pilates, physiotherapy, hand balancing and more, you will not find a more comprehensive program.

Acro Gymnastics, or acro as it is commonly referred to by dancers and dance professionals, is the beautiful fusion of classic dance technique and the precision and athleticism of acrobatic elements. Often defined by unique choreography, acro dancers seamlessly blend musicality, emotional expression, line and extension with acrobatic movements in a dance context.

Acro is an especially challenging style for dancers to master as training in both dance and acrobatic elements is required. Acro technique includes balancing, limbering, tumbling and partnering, based in flexibility, contortion and strength.

Dancers will all have their own progress card which we will work through and 'tick' off when skills are mastered in classes. Once a dancer has completed their skills card for a level they will then progress on to the next level.

We have all the best equipment from Mats, Acro Pad, Air tracks, Wedge Mats, Bands, Blocks, Stacks to help develop the dancers confidence, technique and skills.

Mini Trix - Toddlers Dance + Acro Gymnastics 18m - 2.5y - Sunday
The AcroDance Pre School Program is designed to introduce physical literacy, coordination, creative movement and basic acrobatic skills to students aged 18m to 2.5 years. Fun class for Parents and children to enjoy - parent/guardians are asked to stay with children in the studio and help them to join in but adults must follow social distancing guidelines with other parents.
