Every year we reevaluate our existing Team members and welcome new dancers to join us. We look at each child individually and place them where we feel is most appropriate. We want every dancer to feel challenged, confident and happy. Auditions are an opportunity for dancers to "show us what they've got". While we place weight on potential, proper form and technique, we also look for dancers that give 100% effort and 100% stage presence/performance quality. There are no guaranteed spots when auditioning so we strongly encourage dancers to try their best. If dancers are not ready for certain teams, we are happy to make recommendations for classes to take next season that may assist them in doing so.

We want you to be part of one of the BEST dances in our Recital, THE DAD DANCE!!! It's a Carolyn's Dancenter tradition where our dancers perform a routine on stage with their Dad (or one special adult in their life; Uncles, Grandpas, Moms etc. are welcome, we just limit it to ONE SPECIAL PERSON). Notes:
- Only dancers & their plus one are permitted inside the studio as space is limited and the lobby is closed to all except dancers and staff.
- Rehearsals will be held on Saturdays at 12:00pm for about 45 minutes (see full schedule below)
- Participants are expected to attend the majority of the rehearsals as we have a lot to get done in a short amount of time.
- Wear comfy clothes. Dads will have to take off shoes (we recommend grip socks), dancers may wear lyrical, ballet or jazz shoes.
- All ages are welcome to participate, however we recommend this class for dancers 4 years old & up. This class is about fun, bonding with your family and making memories rather than mastering every dance step!
