Designed for Kindergartners and First Graders, this class will train your dancer in Ballet, Tap, and Jazz.

Ballet:
Tap is great for timing, rhythm, coordination and balance.

Jazz is an upbeat and energetic class, using current age-appropriate music. Designed to develop strength, body placement, coordination, musicality and performance style. Focusing on proper terminology and technique.

Through warm-up, across the floor and combinations, dancers will learn the best and newest jazz movements and steps. Beginner leaps, turns and other jazz moves will be taught.

Lyrical: A beautiful dance form implementing ballet, modern & jazz techniques to express lyrics of songs.
Movement is flowing, graceful, emotional and inspirational.  
Dancers will develop strength & flexibility while acquiring solid dance technique.

Jazz dance is an upbeat and energetic class, using current age-appropriate music. Designed to develop strength, body placement, coordination, musicality and performance style. Focusing on proper terminology and technique. Exposure to the various styles of jazz dance, rock rhythm and blues, rock and roll, classical jazz, contemporary jazz, Charleston etc.

It incorporates technique and flow as well as powerful movements. Leaps, turns and other jazz moves will be taught. Through warm-up, across the floor and combinations, dancers will learn the best and newest jazz movements and steps.

This dance class is designed for our Level 1 dancers who are ready for a more structured class. Introducing Ballet technique, Jazz technique, and Tap rhythms. Dancers will learn basic fundamentals of each style, including introduction to barre work in Ballet, leaps and turns in Jazz, and fun rhythmic steps in Tap. Combo is a great way for dancers to try different styles of dance in order to see what they enjoy and excel in the most as they progress into the next level of training.

There are many different styles of Hip Hop and moves from multiple styles are used in our curriculum. Hip Hop is constantly evolving, and we strive to incorporate the latest moves and variations in our class. We start class with a warmup center floor. Movements that we will work on in class include isolations (of the head, shoulders, rib cage and hips), body rolls, various popping moves and more. At the end of the class, we will learn a combination that we may add to over several weeks.

This class is designed for the youngest ballerina to become accustomed to the structure of a ballet class while having the comfort of a parent present. Your dancer will learn basic ballet skills and terminology. The goal at the end of the year is for your dancer to be confident enough to graduate into a class without a parent.
