Each summer Dragonfly hosts a Children’s Circus Camp for ages 6 – 14. For 5 days, our trained instructors coach your kids in a variety of circus skills, including:
Aerial silks
Trapeze
Lyra
Stilts
Tumbling/Acrobatics
Juggling
Balance Board
At our circus camp, your child not only has fun while learning circus arts in a safe environment, but also:
Builds confidence
Learns teamwork
Gains a love of physical activity
Makes friends
Is challenged intellectually and physically
At the end of camp, we hold a student showcase where your kids will show off the skills they learned during the week!

Cost and Registration
* Cost is $230/week. Camp is 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. each day. We provide a snack each day; campers bring their own lunch.
*Dragonfly follows CDC guidelines for masking, so they may be required.

A weekend exploration of circus skills-- on the ground and in the air! Try your hand at ladders, trapeze, rope, fabrics, stilts, tightwire, acro/pyramids, mini trampoline, rolabola, juggling, handstands, cube and more. Each class will be accessible to people with no previous experience. We will provide lunch and snacks on Saturday and light breakfast on Sunday. There will be a sharing/showcase on Sunday at 11 am to show off your new skills - you can invite friends, family or your kids!

Intermediate Two Tails: Once you can do several clean inversions in the air in a class (no cheating with the feet!) the world of fabrics opens up! In this class, we will learn skills and choreography that emphasize understanding body position in dynamic moves including drops and climbs. You will also be creating your own routines with more and more diverse choreography. You will also be building strength and endurance for longer periods in the air. Prerequisites: Completion of Emerging Inversions in Two Tails or ability to do at least 2 clean inverts from the air during a class, beginning understanding of hip keys/thigh hitches and ability to complete a sequence of at least 2.5 minutes in the air.

Emerging Inversions in Two Tails: In this class, much of the focus will be on learning to invert, ie go upside down with your butt over your head. This class will focus on inverting from the ground, understanding hip keys and thigh hitches, and preparing students for crossback straddle inversions. When you graduate from this class, you will be able to do inversions in the air. Prerequisites: Completion of Beginning Two Tails or ability to execute clean footlocks while in the air and ability to complete a sequence of at least 2 minutes while in the air.
