Summer Camp 2019 (1st - 3rd Grade)
$100 deposit due upon registration. Balance of $495 due no later than 6/8/19. Deposits are non-refundable after 6/8/19. It’s the Rainbow Unicorn PARTY! Designed especially for our campers going into 1st through 3rd Grade, our Rainbow Unicorn Party promises to be an AMAZING time! Dancers will spend the two weeks getting ready for a performance featuring songs from favorites like Jojo Siwa and Disney. They will even get to pick some of the songs themselves! In addition to designing and making all of their props and costumes, each day will be filled with creative, hands-on projects such as ”Making Bath Bombs” and “Glitter Slime”. Two days a week the campers will also enjoy a 30min yoga class with owner and certified yoga teacher Liz Torres from "Mindful Yoga With Liz". On the Second Friday, each group will combine everything they’ve learned into a FREE performance for family and friends. Can’t wait to see you, and Break a Leg!

For our older campers (those going into 4th through 7th Grade), we will be designing a show around a Dance Party through time! Dancers will pick the decades they want to dance to and pick songs to go with that decade. What will it be? Disco? Madonna? The Charleston? Who knows! All we know is that we can NOT wait to see where their imaginations take them! In addition to designing all of their own props, costumes and set pieces they will have a choreography component, two dance classes a day, two creative hands-on projects a day (favorites will include things like making pickles and t-shirt scarves) and two days a week a 30min yoga class with owner and certified yoga teacher Liz Torres from "Mindful Yoga With Liz". Come dance with us! On the Second Friday, each group will combine everything they’ve learned into a FREE performance for family and friends. Can’t wait to see you, and Break a Leg!

Builds dancers' style and confidence while working on musicality and the ability to pick up choreography and connect steps and skills together with fun, upbeat music. The tap portion of this class is an introduction to tap dance for children. A proper foundation of tap technique is established through barre exercises, creative movement and center floor studies. For beginner dancers ready to learn the basics of ballet. Students will build off of the five positions, master plié variations and tendus, among other level-appropriate skills. Dancers will use both barre and centre floor.

Lyrical class is designed for beginner/intermediate students. Students will explore partnering and weight sharing exercises combined with basic techniques and skills from ballet & jazz. It emphasizes interpretation of music lyrics while telling a story with movement that can be fluid or abstract. As students progress through each level it will become increasingly more complex and intricate.
