Open Contemporary
Open Contemporary combines a variety of styles, including jazz, modern, and ballet techniques. This class is improvisational and exploratory of the ways the body can move. It can be adapted for skill levels with some dance experience.

Advanced Ballet
This class is perfect for those who want to add additional ballet training or those who are unable to commit to a more rigorous daily training schedule. Technical proficiency and sufficient knowledge of ballet terminology is required to fully enjoy the intermediate/advanced level.

Open Modern
Class begins in September.

Open Level Modern is designed for students of all levels including those with minimal experience in dance and those wishing to learn the basic elements of modern dance including body placement and articulation, use of space and time, movement dynamics, and self expression. This class also uses elements of choreography, improvisation, and somatic practices to support whole body integration and the development of personal artistry. Some dance experience needed.

Pilates Mat
In this Pilates mat class, we'll discover a dynamic fusion of core-strengthening exercises and mindful movements. Led by experienced JDT instructors, participants engage in precise alignment cues and controlled breathing techniques to build strength, flexibility, and awareness. Suitable for all levels, this class promotes graceful movement, inner peace, and holistic well-being.

Open Tap
Our Adult Beginner Tap class is perfect for students ages 16+ with some experience. Classes begin with foot isolating warm-ups, progress to rhythm and step-based skill building in the center of the room, and end with traveling across the floor. Students will also learn choreography and practice improvisation.

Intermediate Ballet
Intermediate Ballet is designed for students who are returning to ballet or continuing their training. This class will provide an opportunity to gain a strong foundation of technique. Moving at a slower pace, class will focus on ballet positions, vocabulary and proper alignment. Previous training is required.

Beginning Ballet
This beginning class is designed for people with zero or minimal ballet experience. An emphasis will be placed on safe execution of the fundamentals of ballet technique. Students will become familiar with a variety of essential movements, their corresponding French terminology, as well as the overall structure of a traditional ballet class (barre work, center practice, and allegro).
