All participants age 10 and under will need a chaperone in attendance for the entirety of the event. One chaperone can be in charge of multiple participants.

Boost your memory, strengthen your body, improve your cognitive abilities, and increase your confidence, all while decreasing stress and anxiety! Tap dance uses rhythm and sound in addition to movement, allowing individuals to experience being both dancer and musician. Through the practice of rhythm keeping, patterns, and coordination, classes will cover steps and basic rhythms that will progress into fun and energetic dance combinations. This class is for those brand-new to tap as well as intermediate tappers who have already established fundamental tap steps and vocabulary. Focus will be on both the Broadway style of tap traditionally found in musicals as well as rhythm tap, which is focused on the acoustic qualities of the style.
