A dance technique class is a class that focuses on the mastery of the art form. The goal of such a class is to prepare the mind and body of the dancer for a wide range of movement possibilities. Technique classes provide dancers the opportunity to build strength and stamina that will ultimately prevent injury and lengthen their careers. Without the foundation of technique, it’s arguably impossible for dancers to develop into artists.
