Jazz (Ages: 8-11)
Jazz focuses on the development of strength, flexibility and body control by using warm-ups and across the floor exercises. Skills such as isolations, extensions, contractions, leaps, and turns are incorporated into upbeat fast and fun combinations to challenge our dancers.

All students are dropped off and picked up at the door. It minimizes class distraction and gives each dancer a better level of independence.

Main Location (Conyers)
Tap (Ages: 8-11 )
Tap enables our dancers to develop both musicality and coordination while focusing on rhythm and sound quality with shoes equipped with metal taps. Dancers learn how to use their ears to carefully listen while using their feet like drums to create rhythmic patterns and timely beats.

All students are dropped off and picked up at the door. It minimizes class distraction and gives each dancer a better level of independence.

Modern (Ages: 9-14)
The Horton Technique emphasizes a whole body, anatomical approach to dance that includes flexibility, strength, coordination and body and spatial awareness to enable unrestricted, dramatic freedom of expression. This is a not beginner level class.

Must be able to execute all of the warm-ups, Fortification #1 at Minimum, and must be able to utilize beginner AND intermediate technique with minimal correction.

Beginner Ballet (Ages: 5-7)
Beginner 5-7 Ballet is a ballet class that thoroughly explains proper body placements and all of the basic ballet terminology. They will learn proper placement, coordination, and level of dance discipline that will aid in grace in poise. It's a very structured class that would require their full attention.

Ballet is the most fundamental form of all dance styles. Our ballet program is designed to enhance technique by working at the barre, center floor work, and across the floor technique & choreography. Ballet Terminology is taught throughout all levels, as well as proper body placement and technique. Dancers will develop poise, coordination, discipline, and grace while improving their progress in all other dance styles. Ballet helps Build endurance, strength, & flexibility. It is strongly recommended that all dancers incorporate ballet into their dance training, especially more serious dancers.

Beginner Tap Class that aid with timing and rhythmic patterns that can also help dancers with their own musicality. Basic tap terminology is taught by way of tap combination across the floor and center floor.

Prerequisite: Must be able to tap with terminology. This is not a beginner tap class, beyond basic tap, and must be assessed before registering for the class.

Prerequisite: Must be proficient and confident in tap terminology and have had a minimum of two years of basic tap, rhythm, & musicality. Must be able to pick up new terminology and choreography.

**Dancers must be 3 Years old at the start of the season or turn 3 years old by October 1st (NO EXCEPTIONS). The dancer must be FULLY POTTY TRAINED and must be comfortable with being left with their dance teacher and their friends as classes are closed to maintain structure and order.** All students are dropped off and picked up at the door. It minimizes class distraction and gives each dancer a better level of independence.

Creative Movement Ballet/Tap Combo is offered for ages 3-4 years old. There is a curriculum & syllabus in place to offer the foundation of rhythm, coordination, and learning how to work with groups. As classes progress, classes will become more structured in basic terminology.
