For Serious Teen Actors Only. Whether you are preparing to audition for a top tier theatre school or your high school musical or show choir, this is a class that gets you prepared to reach that next level. Songs are explored and understood, and then, working with the instructors, the student is helped to find themselves and truth in the finished product.

Jazz Tween
Jazz Tween is a fun, high-energy jazz class that will allow the young dancer between the ages of 9-13 to learn and refine their technique. This course includes a warm-up, across the floor progressions and a full break down on turns, pirouettes and jumps and leaps. Watch your youngster learn new dance moves weekly and their confidence rise when they dance on stage

Advanced Acting
In the TEEN CLASS, students engage in special projects and explore the concepts of Meisner, Adler and other Acting Schools. We focus on the reality of doing, text analysis and character development. Students receive master classes from local professionals in improvisation, basic voice and speech techniques, and film acting. Seniors who are pursuing this collegiately or professionally work on the skills and repertoire necessary to do so. Classes are ‘safe zones’ where all opinions are listened to and the student's mental health is of the utmost importance. The class will also produce 1 play and a night of original one acts during the year.

Grab your tap shoes and join Renata as she shares her love of tap in this jam packed class. It’s suitable for beginners, but full of expert advice and easy-to-replicate exercises that any skill level of tap dancer can benefit from! As the dancer progresses Renata will add more challenging rhythms, increase tempo and work on the theatrical side of this incredible art form.

All actors need to take some sort of movement class. This option is for the student who wants to dance but is convinced it’s not their forte. This is the class that will help the student appreciate the expressive potential and clarity of their dancing bodies and learn to understand the differences between the terms ‘technique’ and ‘style’ in regard to dance. This class will teach technical skills and body awareness, as well as, creating confidence and a basic understanding of dance for students who never thought they could!

In this class students will learn how to communicate emotions by moving every inch of their body with nuance and intention. Taking Contemporary will help the dancer explore how their body moves specifically, and to push them to move in unexpected ways which will improve their ability to create clean lines and aesthetically pleasing shapes as they perform.

Group Voice/Stage Conventions Tween
Young voices are taught the healthy way to get the best results. With a concentration on using the entire instrument and exploring it through a repertoire that includes; Musical Theatre pieces, standards, and pop music. This concentration on a wide variety will prepare students to use their voice in many different milieus successfully.
While acting is often based on subjective ideas, this class explores the more technical side of stage presentation. This is a more overall look at concrete ways to level up as an actor and gain more confidence in the space. Understand why blocking matters and how to make sense of stage crosses, pacing, dialogue, and comedic timing. Become more educated on different acting styles and genres. Discover new ways to learn lines and vocal harmonies. “Stage Conventions” is a catch-all boot camp that covers a lot of the details that often fall through the cracks and will make rehearsing a production feel vastly smoother.

Our Shooting Stars dance program is designed for the young boy or girl dancer ages 4—7 years to teach the dance basics plus other hand-eye coordination and motor skills to each student in a fun, energetic and relaxed atmosphere. First Semester will be spent creating a Musical Revue of our favorite numbers, solos and duets. Second and Fourth Semesters will culminate in a full scale Student Company Show, and Third Semester will be a student workshop of a new work! THIS is where you gain valuable experience onstage and as a performer. THIS is where you polish your skills and learn new things! If you don’t know where to start MTS is the class!

Are you looking for a fun social skills theatrical performance group that your child can participate in with peers? Where they can make new friendships and parents can network as well? We have had wonderful success with working with children of various abilities. Our Big Dreamers Broadway Squad has been designed by Theater and Dance professional, Renata Marino together with Autism Specialist, Michelle Tomchek . Acting, improvisation, movement, song, dance, skits, and theater games help students to better communicate with each other all while having loads of fun!
No experience necessary! Just a love of theatre, music and a desire to perform.
This camp is inclusionary and students with and without special needs will work along with their peers in an environment where everyone is encouraged to do their best, have fun, make friends and enjoy their theater experience!
This camp is a great introduction to what this group does throughout the year with a fully produced production.
