Learning in Motion
LIM - Friday PM 4's/K Enrich
4s in motion is a drop-off program for children 4 years old and older as of September 1st. Each day has a special focus, while incorporating art projects, music explorations, integrated academic subjects and group games with guided independence. The following topics are the focus of each day: (Monday Morning - Math) Monday – Reading, Tuesday – Science in Motion, (Wednesday Morning - Reading) Wednesday – Math, and Friday – Social Studies. A monthly theme will bring together all four days of classes or allow your child to pick which day(s) best meet their interests. Each day your child will enjoy two centers on the subject focus for that day. In addition, two cross curricular centers will reinforce and introduce new skills on other subjects. Guided Reading and Kid Writing are used as part of our Language Arts instruction. We will be having a music class on Mondays and Spanish class on Fridays. The majority of our students leave our 4's program reading, writing, exploring scientific concepts and completing Kindergarten math skills!

NEW: A Kindergarten enrichment program will be offered during the 4's in Motion class. During free play, all students are able to explore numerous learning activities and gross motor centers based on their interests. During centers, our Kindergarten students will elaborate and review skills they are learning in school. Movements, songs and hands-on learning are still the focus for our oldest students. Small group size will allow for personalized attention to help students reach their fullest potential.
