2023-2024 Season
Acting Master Class with Broadway and Television's Marc Kudisch
Three time Tony Award Nominated Broadway, Television, and Film actor, Marc Kudisch, will take students through a series of theatrical exercises, including improvisation and view pointing (a technique of composition that provides a vocabulary for thinking about and acting upon movement and gesture).
The session helps enhance participants’ self-confidence, listening skills, adaptability in a variety of environments, and increases their ability to think quickly and respond on their feet. Kudisch says about improvisation that it, “is not lying, and is not a performance; it is being present and instinctively reactive to the community conversation – adding to the conversation.”
There will also be time for Q & A related to all things acting and Marc’s successful career, having teamed up with many other notable actor’s such as Sutton Foster, Kristin Chenoweth, and many more!

Cross-Training for Dancers with Coach Anthony Kelly - Nov 11
Cross training for dancers enhances overall performance!
Is getting up en pointe a struggle? Are balances a challenge? Are you successful with splits but unsuccessful at getting your leg above 90 degrees? Or, are you lacking core engagement during class? If you answered yes to any of these, then it’s time to consider cross training!
Injuries in young (and even mature) dancers are VERY common! First and foremost, strength training is injury prevention. Many cases of tendonitis, popping, and pinching may be prevented with strength training. Cross-training teaches dancers how to engage the proper muscles to execute a movement. With this training comes the ability to move with more care and intentionality.
This class with Coach Kelly will help you develop a cross-training routine to continue in between his classes.
The class will utilize resistance bands, body weight exercises, medicine balls, bosu balls, and more. No experience with exercise classes or strength training is necessary.
About Coach Kelly:
Anthony Kelly is a former Kutztown University and NFL football player. He is currently on staff at Pottsville High School. He has a thriving personal training business and works with dancers, youth and college athletes, and people looking to level up their overall fitness throughout Schuylkill County. AIM is excited to partner with Coach Kelly.
