Dancers will be introduced to Ukrainian dance through basic exercises and combinations, stories, songs and games. Dancers will also learn choreography to be performed at studio concerts. Dancers may be invited to participate in the Calgary Ukrainian Festival.

This is a supplementary class where dancers will explore their creative side while developing technique and strength! Dancers will warm up with proper technique and participate in games and activities to develop their artistry and creativity. Lessons may include facts and stories about Ukrainian culture and drama games to improve stage performance skills. Focus will also be placed on musicality, posture, technique and placement. This can be taken alone or as a compliment to Malenki Zirky, Proleesok or Promin.
