Solo, Duet, or Trio with Amanda
Solo, duet, and trio sign-up is officially available to all dancers. Solos, duets, and trios are in addition to class and participation in them is not a requirement of the studio. All Solo, Duet, and Trio dancers are required to work with an Eleve Elite Dance Academy staff member on choreography during private lessons. Choreography will be worked on through private lessons with your chosen instructor. Every solo, duet, and trio will be required to attend a minimum of 4 private lessons throughout the season.

Amanda is excited to work with all levels of Ballet as well as Opal Tappers, and Opal & Sapphire level jazz dancers.

Once you sign your dancer up for a solo with Amanda, she will reach out to you to create a schedule for your dancer's solo, duet, or trio.

Once you sign your dancer up for a solo with Desi, she will reach out to you, the parent, to create a schedule for your dancer's solo, duet, or trio.

Sapphire Tap will participate in 2 competitions throughout the season. All dancers in this class will perform one dance in our Winter Showcase and two dances in our Spring Recital.

This, all ages, class will be performing the spring recital's opening number. In order to better serve all dancer's needs, we will be dividing the groups up by level. For example, Onyx, Sapphire, Opal, and Intro will meet on different Monday's. As we get closer to recital, groups will begin dancing together to create a seamless production. Please note that this class is NOT in the winter showcase.

Dancers will refine their skills through intricate and challenging choreography, rhythmic nuances, and dynamic improvisation. This advanced tap class is by audition or placement only. Under Desi’s instruction, Onyx Tap will delve into complex rhythms and syncopations while mastering intricate footwork patterns designed to challenge. All dancers in Onyx Tap will compete, as a group, in 3 competitions throughout the season.

This class designed for preschool-aged dancers. Dancers in Made to Move will learn about body awareness while moving to the beat of music. This class will also learn the beginning of ballet technique. Made to Move dancers must be able to follow instructions, sit quietly when needed, as well as participate with classmates. All students in Made to Move have the opportunity to perform one dance in both our holiday showcase and year end recital.

In this dynamic course, you will explore the seamless fusion of lyrical and contemporary dance techniques. Pointe
Pointe is the part of classical ballet technique that concerns pointe work, in which a ballet dancer supports all body weight on the tips of fully extended feet. A dancer should never work in pointe shoes until their instructor has told them they are ready to do so. Once the dancer has demonstrated the knowledge of proper technique, alignment, balance, control, strength and flexibility a dance teacher will recommend that the student advance to pointe work. This class will compete in three competitions throughout the season.

Pre-Pointe helps dancers expand on ballet knowledge while focusing on technique, strengthening, and flexibility. All dancers in this class will perform one dance in our Winter Showcase and two dances in our Spring Recital.

Dancers in show group will learn precise movements, formations, and choreography while holding pom-poms in their hands to accentuate movements and add visual flair. Show group’s routines will feature synchronized movements, jumps, kicks, and turns, and they are characterized by energetic music. This style of dance is commonly seen at sporting events, and it requires a combination of athleticism, coordination, and showmanship. Show group will perform at no more than 3 local events as well as one dance in both our Winter Showcase and Spring Recital.
