Ballet dance can be magical, exciting, provoking or disturbing.
Ballet helps dancers with posture, flexibility, fitness, balance, self-discipline, and self-confidence. Students are taught proper body placement, body alignment, barre and center floor work, along with across the floor combinations.

Tap-Tap dance is a type of dance characterized by using the sounds of metal taps affixed to the heel and toe of shoes striking the floor as a form of percussion, coupled with both characteristic and interpretative body movements.

As for toe pads, we allow gel toe pads and that is what the dancer should buy in advance or be prepared to buy at their pointe shoe fitting. Dancers should also go to their fitting in a leotard and tights.

Parents should be encouraged to take photos at the fitting and send them to us so we can share and celebrate this milestone!
