The Elite

All Elite Dancers are full season dancers. Elites will learn a combination of lyrical, contemporary, jazz, ballet, turns, leaps, hip-hop, and specialize in modern dance. Elite dancers are by audition or teacher recommendation only. Elites participate in all inside and outside events and performances. Elite dancers are the face of the company and will be heavily promoted for outside bookings. This class meets Wednesdays 5pm-6pm(subject to extend to 7pm) and Saturdays 2pm-4pm.
Elite dancers have a number of dances performed at our end of season Showcase and are expected to dance in a minimum of 4 dances. (Elite dancers have solos duets which depend on attendance, as well as room studies where they will create their own dance).

Free Trail Hip Hop Creative

National Dance Day is a day where we just get to dance dance dance our hearts out. This is a free trial class that takes place for one day on Monday April 29th to celebrate the great movements of dance. Dancers of all levels are welcomed. Dancers will learn a Hip Hop piece choreographed by the famous Matt Steffanina. After the free trial dancers will have the opportunity to enroll in this special class and perform this quick dance for our upcoming recital May 25th. This class is a one time payment of $35 if decide to enroll. Costumes will be black leggings or joggers, street shoes you already have, and any solid colored of your choice T-shirt(shirt included in the $35). Very simply and very cheap.
If decided to join us dancers will have a $10 recital fee which is for lunch and they will dance in two shows at the beautiful Elision Playhouse Theater in Crystal Mn.
Please note you are not obligated to sign up just because you took this class. Come out and have fun this is a celebration of movement!

Dancers will learn one short hip-hop dance that will open our show for our annual Showcase. This is a hip-hop dance choreographed by the famous Matt Steffanina. Dancers will meet for 1 hour on Mondays from April 29th-May 20th. Dancers do not have the opportunity to opt out of the performance. Our showcase is May 25th at the Elision Playhouse Theatre in Crystal Mn and our dress rehearsal is Tuesday May 21st at the same location from 5:30-8:30pm. Dancers will participate in two shows that day at 3pm and 5:30pm.
Please enroll only if your committed to making every single rehearsal and the showcase as well.

Rising Stars

Rising Star Program Dance is for serious dancers who put dance before all other activities and is looking to elevate their dance skills to move higher in the company. Dancers learn ballet technique and creative movement! In this class WE HAVE FUN! We take potty breaks, play breaks, have bring a buddy to dance day, have show-and-tell day, and participate in other bonding events with the other dancers.
Dancers participate in one annual Showcase with two shows in the same day. Dancers have two dances with costumes per showcase.
Dance lesson meet once every Saturday with a flat fee of $55 per month. There are no prorated months, no discounts for missed lessons, and any lessons canceled due to companies needs will be made up at a later date free of charge. All extra rehearsals are free of charge.
Teachers place dances in their appropriate class based off their skill set and not by age. All dancers looking to move up are encouraged to participate in $12 summer lessons over the summers.
All classes are co-ed. There are no gender, religion, or ethnic discrimination at HOMD whatsoever.
There is an attendance policy. By registering for this class you understand and are agreeing to the terms that dancers who miss more than 2 classes within 1 month or 2 classes per two consecutive months will be automatically dropped from the program without refund.

CALLING ALL BEGINNER DANCERS YOU ARE WELCOMED PLEASE ENROLL IN TECHNIQUE 1 IF YOU ARE AGE 7 AND OLDER. IT'S NOT THAT SERIOUS TRUST ME WE HAVE FUN IN ALL OUR CLASSES!
All dancers who are enrolled in technique classes will audition in December for their showcase dance numbers. All dancers enrolled in technique classes will be in the showcase. Solos and Duets are by audition or teacher placement only.
Please note depending on which dance numbers group your child places in their class time is subject to change by an hour (either up or down) but will still be on Saturday.
All classes are co-ed. There are no gender, religion, or ethnic discrimination at HOMD whatsoever.
There is an attendance policy. By registering for this class you understand and are agreeing to the terms that dancers who miss more than 2 classes within 1 month or 2 classes per two consecutive months will be automatically dropped from the program without refund.
This class is autopay required.

Elite Dancers
Mrs. Carmilla
Elite Dance Program is for serious dancers who put dance before all other activities and is looking to elevate their dance skills to move into the entertainment industry as a paid professional.
Technique classes are designed to increase dancers skill set and to enhance their level of dance comprehension as well as performance. All dancers will learn Ballet, Modern, and Jazz techniques from September - November. Technique classes are listed by 1,2, or 3 which are separated by the level of difficulty with Technique 3 being the most difficult class. All Elite dancers are automatically placed in Technique 3 lessons.
Elite dancers will audition in December for their showcase dance numbers as well as service as judges for Technique 1&2 numbers. All dancers enrolled in technique classes will be in the showcase. Elite dancers are guaranteed solos each showcase unless requested to opt out.
Elite Dancers learn a combination of lyrical, contemporary, jazz, ballet, turns, leaps, hip-hop, and specialize in modern dance. Elite dancers are by audition or teacher recommendation only. Elites participate in all inside and outside events and performances. Elite dancers are the face of the company and will be heavily promoted for outside bookings. This class meets Wednesdays 6:15pm-7:15pm and Saturdays 1pm-3pm.
Elite dancers have a number of dances performed at our end of season Showcase and are expected to perform a solo unless opted otherwise. (Elite dancers have duets opportunities as well as room studies where they will create their own dance).
Elite lessons meet every Wednesday and Saturday with a flat fee of $100 per month. There are no prorated months, no discounts for missed lessons, and any lessons canceled due to companies needs will be made up at a later date free of charge. All extra rehearsals are free of charge.
All Elite dancers are required to take a minimum of 12 $12 classes summer lessons over the summers.
