This class will expand upon all the skills of the creative dance class syllabus while transitioning to basic ballet fundamentals as a ballet primer. They will learn positions of the feet and arms as well as exercises to encourage the coordination of the whole body. French vocabulary is learned and students are encouraged to experience the joy of movement and music without the pursuit of perfection, but instilling confidence.

Adult Beg/Int Ballet Session 1
In this combined level class, adults have the opportunity to explore the physical and mental benefits of taking a ballet class at their own pace. Each class is structured with barre and center work in a serious yet fun and supportive environment. Posture, balance and body alignment are the fundamentals. Exercises are aimed at conditioning the body for dance and will focus on core and leg strength, flexibility and coordination. Some past dance experience is recommended but not required. You can pursue your interest in ballet regardless of age, body type, or ability level. It’s an investment in yourself and keeps you at your best!

length is extended and focuses on strength and endurance to prepare students for pointe
work. It also emphasizes discipline, professionalism and an ability to work well with others.
