Adult Ballet
This class is for anyone who wants learn to dance! All ages and levels are welcome.
Students will gain knowledge of classical ballet steps in a non-judgmental environment.
Class consists of a warm up at the barre and then progression to center work and across the floor combinations.
Attire can be anything you feel comfortable and able to move in such as leggings and a t-shirt but you're also welcome to wear a leotard and tights!
This is drop-in class and you may pay as you go or purchase a punch card (ask at the front desk about our 10 class card special)

Choreography Intensive
Camp dates: June 26-28 with included additional rehearsal/workshop dates June 19 and 26 and July 17 and 31. For intermediate and Advanced dancers (ages 10 and up). Students will have the opportunity to choreograph a piece on their peers with coaching and feedback from our professional dancers and instructors. Please let Ms. Maya know if you'd like to sign up as a choreographer or as a dancer.

Choreographers: learn the fundamentals of choreography and create on other dancers
Dancers: gain skills in picking up choreography and style, memorization, and performance quality while collaborating with different student choreographers

This one week intensive features classes taught by our professional company members. Get a feel for what it's like to be a professional dancers at Central Illinois Ballet with morning ballet classes, afternoon rehearsals, and a show at the end of the week with pieces learned throughout the experience as well as student choreography from the Choreography Camp!
