Ballet is the base of all dance forms and is imperative to a dancers training. JAZZ dance is based on the techniques of ballet, modern and African dance and is set to upbeat music. This dance form promotes strength, flexibility, coordination and the ability to move and control each part of the body. Students will go across the floor as well as learn combinations to help them pick up choreography.

Pre-Acro (Ages 4-5)
PRE-BALLET/PRE-TAP/PRE-ACRO (Ages 4-5) are the levels after Tap/Ballet/Tumble classes and before 5-7 year old Ballet/Jazz/Tap/Hip-Hop/Acro classes. This class prepares them to transition to a faster paced class and encourages them to learn the fundamentals and structure of a dance class. They will continue to learn correct feet and arm positions and learn proper etiquette for dance classes, as well as learn the basic vocabulary of the style.

Hip-Hop (Ages 5-7)
HIP HOP is a combination of many styles of dance but mainly jazz and street styles of dance. They will learn how to isolate certain parts of their body and learn rhythm. This class will include upbeat music and learning fun choreography.

ACRO teaches skills to increase strength, flexibility and overall fitness, as well as basic through advanced tumbling skills (i.e. forward/backward rolls through back handsprings, aerials, etc.).

Lyrical/Contemporary (Ages 5-10)
LYRICAL/CONTEMPORARY dance combines ballet, modern dance and jazz resulting in an emotionally expressive dance form. This theatrical form of dance strives to tell a story and is intended to evoke emotion. It encourages dancers to move their body in new and innovative ways.

Ballet/Jazz (Ages 5-7)
BALLET helps dancers gain grace, balance, strength, and flexibility. Dancers will learn positions at the barre and in the center and learn the basic vocabulary of the style. Ballet is the base of all dance forms and is imperative to a dancers training. JAZZ dance is based on the techniques of ballet, modern and African dance and is set to upbeat music. This dance form promotes strength, flexibility, coordination and the ability to move and control each part of the body. Students will go across the floor as well as learn combinations to help them pick up choreography.
