This is a technique class designed to assist students in focusing on the leaps, jumps and turns that dancers perform in Ballet, Jazz and Hip Hop. This specialized class is a way to better your technique when executing basic leaps, center leaps, turns, and fouetté. Ballet and Jazz classes will not spend a lot of time focusing on these skills and a student wishing to strengthen their skill level with these techniques may want to consider the Leaps and Turns class as an adjunct to skill development. Ages 8-17

Musical Theatre
Musical Theatre class will focus on learning proper dance technique while exploring the various dance styles used in Broadway shows. Class curriculum is based on ballet technique layered with Broadway-style jazz movement and includes a proper warm-up, stretches, isolations, across-the-floor progressions, and combinations. Pre-Ballet
Ages from 3 to 5 years. This is a mommy and me class. A parent/guardian or another adult must participate in the class with the student. Students learn the basic dance terminology and movements of ballet. Their adult partner is there to help to position their arms, hands legs and feet in the proper positions to aid the student in beginning the muscle memorization process. Young dancers will learn the basic ballet steps while learning how to follow direction and imitate movement and gross motor skill development. Engaging music is used to get these little ones inspired to dance. The class includes a free dance period with students gets to make up their own choreography. $70 per mo

Intermediate Tumbling
This class has no prerequisites and is geared towards athletes with little to no previous tumbling experience. This special Summer introductory class gives students the opportunity to experience lyrical dance, which combines techniques and skills from ballet, jazz and modern. Students will also explore how lyrical dance emphasizes the interpretation of music lyrics to tell a story with movement that can be fluid or abstract. Ages 5 to 8

Int/Adv Lyrical
Lyrical class is designed for intermediate to advanced students with previous training in ballet. Students will explore partnering and weight sharing exercises combined with basic techniques and skills from ballet, jazz and modern. It emphasizes the interpretation of music lyrics while telling a story with movement that can be fluid or abstract. As students progress through each level curriculum will become increasingly more complex and intricate. Students must take this class in conjunction with ballet. Ages 8-17

Hip Hop
Hip hop is a high-energy class that infuses the latest styles of street dancing, breaking, popping, and locking. Classes will encourage students to step outside of the box by bringing their own individual style and personality to the movements. Hip hop dance requires students to have the strength and stamina to successfully perform moves. Therefore class includes upper and lower body conditioning as well as a rigorous warm-up to help prepare students for more intense movements. This class is taught by Tatiana Lee Rose. Ages 10 -18

Technique Mondays - Students will focus on building the strength, flexibility, and control needed to execute ballet moves. Each class will emphasize barre exercises and may also include a combination of center floor work and across-the-floor combinations. This class does not include a year-end performance. Pointe Friday - Pointe classis designed for students with previous ballet training. Students will utilize previously learned ballet technique while working in pointe shoes. Each class includes barre exercises, center floor work and across the floor combinations. These exercises focus on strengthening the feet and ankles. Ages 9-17
