Beginning Jazz
This class is for 5 to 8-year-olds. This is a technique class designed to assist students in focusing on the leaps, jumps and turns that dancers perform in Ballet, Jazz and Hip Hop. This specialized class is a way to better your technique when executing basic leaps, center leaps, turns, and fouetté. Ballet and Jazz classes will not spend a lot of time focusing on these skills and a student wishing to strengthen their skill level with these techniques may want to consider the Leaps and Turns class as an adjunct to skill development.

Advanced Jazz, Musical Theatre
This is a technique class designed to assist students in focusing on the leaps, jumps and turns that dancers perform in Ballet, Jazz and Hip Hop. Intermediate Jazz, Musical Theatre
This class will give students a thorough grounding in jazz terminology and technique while giving them an opportunity to grow as performers. The warm-up and progressions will use classic jazz technique to develop students' musicality, athleticism, alignment, and performance. We will use this technical base to explore a variety of jazz styles, including classical, musical theater, jazz-funk and lyrical/contemporary

Pre-Ballet
This is a mommy and me class. A parent/guardian or another adult must participate in the class with the student. Students learn the basic dance terminology and movements of ballet. Their adult partner is there to help to position their arms, hands legs and feet in the proper positions to aid the student in beginning the muscle memorization process. Young dancers will learn the basic ballet steps while learning how to follow direction and imitate movement and gross motor skill development. Engaging music is used to get these little ones inspired to dance. The class includes a free dance period with students gets to make up their own choreography.

Ages from 3 to 5 years.

This class is designed for 5 to 12-year-olds and has no prerequisites and is geared towards athletes with little to no previous tumbling experience.

(Possibly) Bridges and kick overs

Wednesday

Beginning Lyrical
This class is for 5 to 8-year-old dancers who are just starting out in the genre. Warm-up exercises will focus on improving flexibility, extension, core strength, and balance. Center work will introduce both lyrical and contemporary steps and combinations. Combinations will incorporate the technical elements of ballet and jazz. Students will learn how to express a wide range of emotions through their dance based on musical interpretation.

Beginning Hip Hop
This class is for 5 to 9-year-olds. Hip-hop dance refers to street dance styles primarily performed to hip hop music which has evolved as part of hip hop culture. It includes a wide range of styles primarily breaking, locking, and popping which were created in the 1970s and made popular by dance crews in the United States. Students will begin learning hip hop fundamentals. Hip hop moves are broken down for dancers. Then, students' knowledge of hip hop fundamentals will be expanded by explaining and demonstrating various techniques and methods. Students will be exposed to multiple styles of hip hop dance. Original choreography will be taught, allowing students to discover their own hip hop style in a stress-free and fun environment, encouraging confidence building, independent creativity, and teamwork. No experience necessary.

Int/Adv Hip Hop
Hip hop is a high-energy class that infuses the latest styles of street dancing, breaking, popping, and locking. Classes will encourage students to step outside of the box by bringing their own individual style and personality to the movements. Hip hop dance requires students to have the strength and stamina to successfully perform moves. Therefore class includes upper and lower body conditioning as well as a rigorous warm-up to help prepare students for more intense movements.

Int/Adv Lyrical
This class is for 8 to 17 year old dancers who are proficient in the genre. Warm-up exercises will focus on improving flexibility, extension, core strength, and balance. Center work will include both lyrical and contemporary steps and combinations. Combinations will incorporate the technical elements of ballet with jazz and modern movements. Students will learn how to express a wide range of emotions through their dance based on musical interpretation. Students will learn how to quickly change tempo and create sharp and clean transitions.
