Ballet Pre/Pointe Level 2
***Core-requisite, This class can not be taken without Level 2 Ballet Tuesday***
Ballet/Pre Pointe is for the more serious student wanting to start Pointe when they begin Level 3 at the age of 11. If students would like to take pointe in the following Level this will be a required class. This class will strengthen, stretch, and create needed articulation to the ankle joints, needed for pointe work.

Intro to Dance Level B
Intro to Dance Level B will introduce children to ballet positions, strengthening, flexibility, character dance, ballet barre work, ballet centre, ballet alligment, hip hop centre, tap centre, creative expression, musicality and dance etiquette. In the Intro to Dance classes, a great deal of emphasis is placed on the enjoyment of the art of dance while maintaining the discipline required for any artistic endeavor. As the children age, we introduce ballet, modern, tap, hip hop and jazz technique to prepare our dancers for more rigorous technique classes as they age. This class is taken independently with a Dance Center staff member.

Intro to Dance Level A
Intro to Dance Level A will introduce children to ballet positions, strengthening, flexibility, character dance, ballet centre work, creative expression, musicality and dance etiquette. In the Intro to Dance classes, a great deal of emphasis is placed on the enjoyment of the art of dance while maintaining the discipline required for any artistic endeavor. As the children age, we introduce ballet, modern, tap, hip hop and jazz technique to prepare our dancers for more rigorous technique classes as they age.
Monday Intro to Dance Level A 2/3 year, from 4:45-5:30 PM class will be taken with a Dance Center staff member and if needed a Guardian, Mommy, Daddy, or Grandparent. We find at this age that many little dancers still need some encouragement in their new adventure of learning dance. This class will also offer a Teacher Assistant for dancers participating in the class independently.

Intro to Technique Level C
Building upon the foundations of Intro to Dance, dancers in Intro to Technique will have a weekly rotation of Ballet Barre, Ballet Centre, Hip Hop Centre, Tap Centre, and Modern/Jazz Centre. In addition to the variety of Dance Techniques, this level will also focus on core elements of strengthening and flexibility, dance conditioning, musicality, character dance, ballet positions, proper ballet alignment, and dance etiquette delivered in a fun and inviting environment.

Levels 4 and 5 with have Dance Conditioning within a fun and energetic Jazz Technique class. Dance Conditioning with work on core and back strength, turn out, flexibility, and foot and ankle strength.

Partnering class focuses on understanding how girls and boys dance together. Our curriculum focuses on technique, support, balance, coordination and lifting while incorporating Pas de Deux into instruction.
