Welcome to the Disney Villains Summer Dance Camp, where wickedness meets rhythm! Join us for an unforgettable summer filled with sinister moves and devilish grooves. Under the guidance of our villainous instructors, campers will unleash their inner darkness on the dance floor.
From the graceful twirls of Maleficent's dark magic to the mischievous footwork of Captain Hook's pirate crew, campers will learn a variety of dance styles inspired by Disney's most iconic villains. Whether it's mastering Ursula's tentacled waltz or perfecting Scar's menacing strut, there's something for every aspiring villain to sink their teeth into.
But it's not all about the dance moves—campers will also participate in themed activities and crafts, from crafting evil accessories to concocting villainous potions. And who knows, perhaps there will even be a surprise visit from some of Disney's most infamous villains themselves!

4. Mini Summer Intensive: Cinderella - July 22-26. Ages 8-12yrs.
July 22-July 26
This is an excellent mini-intensive for the young dancer with pre-pointe and new to pointe technique experience, ages 8-12 yrs. During this mini-intensive, ballet technique with an emphasis on alignment will be stressed. Be prepared to sweat, stretch and explore the rich ballet traditions behind the ballet Cinderella, and the classical variations associated with this timeless classic! Attire: Ladies - solid colored leotard, pink tights, ballet/pointe shoes. Hair securely pulled back. Gents - White/black shirt or TDC T-Shirt, black tights with nude or black dance belt, white or black socks.
Please bring a sack lunch and water bottle. This mini Summer Intensive culminates with an in-studio performance Friday, the final day of camp.

5. Pas de Deux Summer Intensive: July 29 - Aug 2. Ages 12+
July 29st - Aug 2th
Ages/Levels: Intermediate II/Advance and Pre-Professional students. Men and women ages 12-22 years old. Considerable pointe experience is required.
This exclusive in studio summer intensive will focus on the study of Pas de Deux and Variations for both men and women from the great classical ballet repertoire, immersing students in Technique, Pas de Deux, Variations and Codas associated with each selected ballet. Open to Intermediate II/Advanced and Pre-Professional students. Our 2024 Pas de Deux SI will be taught by principal dancer and award winning artist, Jon Drake.

Primary Ballet I focuses on ballet foundations (body positions), proper technique, ballet terminology, and creativity! A typical Primary I class starts with ballet barre, flows to a series of yoga based stretches chosen specifically for dance, then the dancer moves to center work, and the class ends with a fun exercise utilizing each dancers creativity and imagination.
Curriculum: 2 years (dancers can expect to train for 2 years in this level).

Intermediate I Ballet Technique & Pointe
Intermediate Ballet I is suitable for those who have completed our Primary II Level or equivalent and have a solid classical technique. Ballet technique will be taken to the next level by finding space in the body to let go of tension and fully enjoy the experience of dancing gracefully. Time at the barre will be spent examining the dynamic and technique of the exercises in preparation for the remainder of the class. Centre practice will focus on stationary, turning, and travelling exercises then moving on to jumps, beats and grande allegro combinations. You will strengthen your classical ballet technique, learn more complex sequences and steps, and gain confidence in pre- pointe work and beginning pointe technique. Introduction to pointe work once student passes test.
Curriculum: 2 years (dancers can expect to train for 2 years in this level).
Attire: Royal blue leotard and pink tights.
Shoes: Pink ballet shoes. Pointe shoes upon approval from instructor.

Intermediate II & Advanced
Intermediate II/Advanced Pointe Technique emphasis is placed on perfecting technique, building strength, executing multiple turns en pointe, complex pointe sequences, and developing artistry to bridge the gap between advanced student and pre-professional training.
Prerequisite: At least 5 years of ballet training plus 2 years of pointe training minimum, mastery of all the Intermediate Technique and Pointe syllabus, and faculty approval. This hour is a wonderful additional compliment to Monday's pointe-technique at 5:30pm.
Attire: Intermediate II burgundy leotard and pink tights. Advanced black leotard and pink or black tights.
No distracting jewelry allowed. Hair must be neatly pulled back from the face into a bun.

Creative Movement for 3 year olds
Let your dancers first steps be with Tulsa Dance Company! This introduction to dance is perfect for 3 year olds (must be potty trained and 3 yrs by 5/1/24). Through fun tools/props students learn dance positions, vocabulary, etiquette, musicality, spacial awareness, sharpen listening skills, acquire kinesthetic memory for movement patterns, locomotor skills and hone coordination. This 45 minute class will delight the child who loves to move!

Aerial Arts
This workshop is your entry point to all things Aerial! If you’ve ever been curious about training in aerial arts, this is a great place to start. In this course you will experience a variety of different aerial apparatuses (including Lyra, silks, hammock, etc.). Your instructor will guide you through a brief warm up with basic conditioning exercises to build strength before working the aerial apparatuses. You will learn how to safely do a variety of tricks and poses throughout the class and channel your inner “Cirque du Soleil” aerialist. This is a great introductory class for those who have never been in the air before or who are not quite sure which aerial apparatus they would like to pursue. Come ready to have fun! No previous experience is necessary; this workshop meets on Thursdays during our Summer Sessions.

Pointe and Variations is offered for intermediate and advanced ballet students. Permission is required for acceptance in this very special class, which is designed to strengthen the dancer en Pointe and to teach variations from the classical repertoire.

Creative Movement for 3 year olds
Let your dancers first steps be with Tulsa Dance Company! This introduction to dance is perfect for 3 year olds (must be potty trained and 3 yrs by 7/1/24). Through fun tools/props students learn dance positions, vocabulary, etiquette, musicality, spacial awareness, sharpen listening skills, acquire kinesthetic memory for movement patterns, locomotor skills and hone coordination. This 45 minute class will delight the child who loves to move! This class will not be in the all-studio performances. They will have their own demonstrations in class.
Attire: Girls - Black leotard (no skirt attached) and pink tights. Boys - White T Shirt, Black dance pants or short with white or black socks.
Shoes: Girls - Pink ballet shoes and black tap shoes. Boys - Black ballet and tap shoes.

Have you always wanted to study ballet? This beginning Adult/Teen ballet class is the right class for you! Barre work, stretches especially designed for dancers, proper alignment, and ballet terminology are covered in this beginning level class.
Attire: Dance Wear, Athletic Wear (Yoga pants)
Shoes: Ballet shoes

Primary Ballet I 6-7 Yrs
Welcome Regent Preparatory Dancers,

Primary Ballet I focuses on ballet foundations (body positions), proper technique, ballet terminology, and creativity! A typical Primary I class starts with ballet barre, flows to a series of yoga based stretches chosen specifically for dance, then the dancer moves to center work, and the class ends with a fun exercise utilizing each dancer's creativity and imagination.
Attire: Girls - Light blue leotard (no skirt attached) and pink tights. Boys - White/Black or TDC T-Shirt, Black dance pants/shorts/tights, White or Black Socks.
Shoes: Girls - Pink ballet shoes. Boys - Black ballet shoes.

Tulsa Dance Company's Ensemble (performance group) is by audition. Ensemble is designed for Intermediate I, Intermediate II, and Advanced dancers. Our Ensemble performs through out the year in community outreach programs, non profit events, and special dance festivals.

Our tiny dancers are ages 3.5-5yrs. 3 year olds must be potty trained. PreBallet students will be introduced to the structure of a ballet class, selected barre exercises, stretching sequences, basic positions, and fun-simple movements across the floor. This class is rounded out with fun tunes and basic tap steps!
Curriculum: 2 years (dancers can expect to train for a minimum 2 years in this level).
Attire: Pink leotard (no skirt attached) and pink tights.
Shoes: Pink ballet shoes and black tap shoes.

Primary Ballet II 8-9 Yrs
Primary Ballet II builds upon the ballet foundation laid by Primary I. Dancers begin to focus on musicality and to retain more complex ballet sequences. We continue to focus on proper technique, alignment, and expanding our ballet vocabulary! Jumps and introductory turning exercises are introduced at this level.
Attire: Girls - Light blue leotard (no skirt attached) and pink tights. Boys - White/Black or TDC T-Shirt, Black dance pants/shorts/tights, White or Black Socks.

Intermediate Ballet I Ballet Technique & Pointe
Intermediate Ballet I is suitable for those who have completed our Primary II Level or equivalent and have a solid classical technique. Ballet technique will be taken to the next level by finding space in the body to let go of tension and fully enjoy the experience of dancing gracefully. Time at the barre will be spent examining the dynamic and technique of the exercises in preparation for the remainder of the class. Centre practice will focus on stationary, turning, and travelling exercises then moving on to jumps, beats and grande allegro combinations. You will strengthen your classical ballet technique, learn more complex sequences and steps, and gain confidence in pre- pointe work and beginning pointe technique. Introduction to pointe work once student passes test.
Curriculum: 2 years (dancers can expect to train for 2 years in this level).
Attire: Royal blue leotard and pink tights.
Shoes: Pink ballet shoes. Pointe shoes upon approval from instructor.

Study the art of Partnering and Ballet Repertoire.
For Ladies: Considerable pointe experience is required for this Advanced Level class.
For Men: 13 and up. Strength and Conditioning as well as regular ballet technique, is required for this Advanced Level class.
Attire: Ladies Intermediate II - burgundy leotard and pink tights. Advanced - black leotard and pink or black tights. A skirt or practice tutu (as requested by instructor) maybe worn.
