Students in Level 3B & Level 4 Ballet are invited to enroll in Contemporary & Lyrical Repertoire.
Contemporary dance fuses modern, jazz, ballet, & improvisation to create a highly emotive dance form. Lyrical Dance fuses ballet & jazz dance techniques to tell a story (often performed to music with lyrics). This class will perform one dance in the Year-End Performance.

This 45-minute class meets 1 time/week and students will perform at least one dance in the Year-End Performance.

Intermediate jazz technique and vocabulary. This class meets for 1 hour, 1 time/week. Students should have at least 3 years of jazz experience before joining this class. It is strongly recommended that dancers be enrolled in ballet when enrolled in jazz. Students will be invited to perform in additional formal and informal performances through out the year (however, participation is not mandatory). Dancers will perform one jazz dance in the year-end performance.

Advanced beginning and Intermediate ballet class which builds on the basic ballet skill and terminology. Students should have at least 2 years of ballet experience to join this class. Students in Level 2A are strongly encouraged to add a second Level 2 Ballet class to further their training and skill.

Students are required to attend at least 2 ballet classes each week for a total of 2-3.5 hours/week for Level 3 Ballet. Students will build on an intermediate level knowledge of ballet technique. Students must commit to dancing at least 2 days/week to begin en-pointe. Students will also have modern & lyrical technique incorporated into this class

Students will build on a basic knowledge of ballet technique and will also learn basic modern technique. Students will perform 2-3 dances in the year-end performance and will also be provided with a mid-year informal performance as well as community performances through out the year. Students in Level 4 Ballet who are en pointe will work en pointe 2 days/week.

Beginning level ballet barre and centre work for dancers ages 13 & up-no ballet experience required. This beginning ballet class introduces students to the structure of ballet in addition to beginning ballet technique, musicality, and performance concepts. This 1-hour class meets 1 time/week and dancers will quickly grow their ballet vocabulary as well as gain an introduction to ballet history and terminology. This .75 hr class meets the first 6 weeks of our 2021-22 Dance Season.
$54 for all 6 weeks or $10 for each class.
