Short-Term Irish Dance
Join Ms. Sarah for 6 weeks of soft-shoe Irish dancing! This 6-week class offers an introduction to Irish dance, which, like other forms of dance, helps students with balance, posture, coordination, flexibility, motor skill development, and strength. Dancers will also be introduced to the history, tradition and music of Irish dancing.

NEDC Family Dance 2024
Family Dance is Back at NEDC. This class is open to all students who have danced with us in the 2023-24 dance season. Dancers, grab a family member (mom, dad, grandparent, etc...) and join Ms. Christine to learn some choreography to be performed during our Year-End Performances. $45/family. Saturdays, 12:45-1:30 pm on the following dates:
April 20th (only level 2-5 dancers + family member)
April 27th: (only ages 3-level 1 dancers + family member)
May 4th: all dancers & family members
May 18th: all dancers & family members

Ballet Technique Mini-Intensive: June 24-28
Spend the week improving ballet technique, terminology, history, and choreography for intermediate-advanced students, ages 12+ (or NEDC Level 2B, 3 or 4) who have had a minimum of 3 years ballet training.

Tuition: $150 (plus $15 New Student registration fee-waived if registration is received by March 31)

Dance Through the Movies: June 17-21
Come spend the week dancing through your favorite movie musicals from Singing in the Rain to Encanto, West Side Story to The Greatest Showman! We will learn about all the aspects of musical theatre dance with dance technique, activities, choreography and performing skills. Students ages 7-10 will each learn 5 short dances to perform on the final day of class for friends and family.

Fairy Tales & Far Off Places Camp: June 17-20
Grab your unicorns and mermaids and spend the morning dancing through ice castles and jungles, oceans and outer space with music and dance from around the world through dance steps, terminology, musicality, and performance concepts. Each day the dancers will have learn dance steps, create crafts, and learn choreography to be performed for family members at the end of the camp.
Tuition: $100 (plus $15 New Student registration fee-waived if registration is received by March 31)

A low-pressure and no-audition environment combined with highly trained local performers will create a fun-filled week of learning and growing in your performing capabilities! We will work towards an hour long performance to be held Friday night for any and all friends and family. A great opportunity to try performing for the first time or grow in your already-there skills! Students should have completed 3rd or 4th Grade to enroll in this class.

Nutcracker Camp (Ages 6-12) August 19-23
It's Christmas in August! Spend the week dancing through the most famous of all ballet stories, The Nutcracker. From Sugar Plums to Snowflakes students will spend each day with class, crafts (for younger students), costumes, and of course, choreography. Students will learn choreography throughout the week to be performed on the last day of class.
