Intro Ballet I - A (non performance)
This class is for ages 5-7. It explores basic ballet technique, proper body alignment, French terminology and musicality. Basic turns are introduced, and the flow of a traditional ballet class is established. BrainDance exercises will be incorporated into warm up every class to increase coordination and our capacity to learn and grow as dancers. This class is for beginning and first-time ballet students.

Special Notes:
Dance clothes such as leotards, tights, leggings, dance skirts/shorts worn over leotard and tights, sweatpants, shorts. Hair should be pulled back from the face. Ballet shoes required.

Primary Ballet I *TEACHER PERMISSION REQUIRED TO ENROLL (non performance)
This class is for ages 8-11 and focuses on higher level basic ballet technique, proper body alignment, French terminology and musicality. Basic preps for higher level turns are introduced, and the flow of a traditional ballet class is established. BrainDance exercises will be incorporated into warm up every class to increase coordination and our capacity to learn and grow as dancers.

Special Notes:
Dance clothes such as leotards, tights, leggings, dance skirts/shorts worn over leotard and tights, sweatpants, shorts. Hair should be pulled back from the face. Ballet shoes required.

This class will run in 6-week sessions and will not perform in end of session recital but it's a fun and creative introduction to ballet class. Exploring ballet technique through the dance concepts nurtures the whole dancer. Musicality, improvisation, and skill development are all a part of this developmentally appropriate ballet class. BRAINDANCE exercises will be incorporated into warm up every class to increase coordination and our capacity to learn and grow as dancers.

Any color dance leotards and ballet tights with dance skirts/shorts worn over leotard and ballet tights required. For boys, black dance pants or shorts with form fitting tee required. Hair MUST be pulled back from the face. Ballet shoes required.

Creative Pre Ballet (nonperformance)
This class will run in 6-week sessions and will not perform in end of session recital but it's a fun and creative introduction to ballet class. Exploring ballet technique through the dance concepts nurtures the whole dancer. Musicality, improvisation, and skill development are all a part of this developmentally appropriate ballet class. BRAINDANCE exercises will be incorporated into warm up every class to increase coordination and our capacity to learn and grow as dancers.

Jazz I (Beg/Int) non performance
This class is for ages 8-11. Jazz class will focus on learning proper dance technique such as isolations of the body, improving performance quality and developing complex rhythms and patterns. Students will be exposed to a various style of jazz such as Broadway, Street and Contemporary to help develop well rounded dancers. BrainDance will be incorporated into each class and focus on personal expression and uniqueness.

Special Notes: Form fitting top, jazz pants, leggings or sweatpants required. Hair secured back. Jazz shoes required.

This class will run in 6-week sessions and will not perform in end of session recital but it's a fun and creative introduction to ballet class Child must be ready to participate in dance classes without a parent/caregiver. These fun classes use concepts of time, space, shapes and directions to explore dance. Using stories, props, imagery, joyful games and types of music to encourage the development of strong bodies, self-confidence and self-awareness.

Special Notes:
Dress for comfort and ease of movement. Dance clothes such as leotards, footless tights, sweatpants/shorts, leggings, stretch pants, t-shirts, dance skirts, etc. Hair should be pulled back from the face. Students dance in bare feet.

Dance Intensive
Dancers will explore the many aspects of Hip Hop, Jazz, Ballet, Contemporary, and Musical Theatre Dance. We will learn the basis of many different styles of dance, including technique, improvisation, and learning and creating choreography. We will be emphasizing curiosity, personal expression, and personal acceptance to focus on healthy and safe use of the body. The concepts of body, space, time, quality, and imagery will guide us through styles of dance. We will dance to a variety of musical genres, including hip hop, pop, electronic, avant-garde, instrumental, world music, and songs from popular musicals.
No prior dance experience necessary.

Special Notes
Snack: 20 Min Snack time will be provided. Student must come with plenty of snack and refillable water bottle. 

Dress Code: Dress for comfort and ease of movement. Dance clothes such as leotards, footless tights, sweatpants/shorts, leggings, t-shirts, dance skirts, etc. Students dance in bare feet, ballet shoes. athletic shoes are optional.

DanceArt in Motion Ballet Camp
DanceArt in Motion explores dance and art through the works of famous artists. Every day we discover a new artist and delving into their unique style. Dance class includes time for dance-making inspired by our daily artist and dance-concept of the day.
DanceArt in Motion engages creativity and expression through kinesthetic and visual/spatial learning experiences to combine the worlds of dance and visual art!
Camps culminates with an informal show on Friday. @ 11:30am

Bring to life enchanting fairy story. Joyfully explore ballet vocabulary in an age-appropriate, dance-concept based creative ballet class each day. We'll read the stories, create props and crafts to accompany our magical dances! Camp culminates with an informal show on Friday @ 11:30am. No Class on July 4th

Hip Hop Dance Camp
Explore dance styles from the vibrant culture of Hip Hop, through the lens of the dance concepts. Dancers develop their own voice while learning the history of Hip Hop dance and culture. Movement vocabulary from breaking, waving, tutting, isolations, locking, popping, commercial/new style, and House dance. We also create art inspired by Hip Hop culture!

Camp culminates with an informal show of Friday at 3:30pm
