Body Conditioning
A combination of two different programs tailored to work seamlessly with each other. One aspect is an athletic strength based approach, creating a broad base for dance development. The second aspect is a ballet specific approach designed to increase flexibility, strength ranges, jump power, and to fine tune technique outside the setting of a ballet class. When used together overall strength and technical ability both increase to help create more athletic and robust dancers.

Summer Intensive
"The Canyon Concert Ballet School One week Summer Intensive offers a combination of Ballet and contemporary dance. Today’s dance world demands a versatile dancer. This unique intensive offers the
training today’s aspiring dancers need. Our internationally renowned guest instructors/ choreographers
will inspire growth and renewal for all participants and prepare those students training for the demands of a professional career in an intimate, safe and nurturing environment. Focus is placed on developing the whole dancer by offering classes according to 4 levels determined by an initial placement class.

In addition to daily ballet classes, students will enjoy classes in Modern/contemporary, jazz/musical theatre, Character and Progressive Ballet Technique, as well as lectures on injury prevention, nutrition, and dance
history. Students will have the option in repertoire class to learn Ballet, or contemporary choreography, which will be presented on the final day of the intensive."
